On the Blackthorn estate, Josephine prepared her things she wanted to start moving to her home. She stood back as the maids and guards aided in placing her things on a cart and inside a carriage.
"You don't have to move so fast," Selene said.
"Fast? This is very little of what I own. The deal was that I would wait for the attacks to be over, and now they are over. I need my own space, Selene. As fun as this was, I cannot completely do as I want here," Josephine said, looking forward to being the one making rules.
"I understand that, but I worry about you being alone," Selene said, stepping to the side as more of Jopsehine's belongings came outside.
"Alone?" Jopsehine chuckled, humoured by what Selene said. "I will not be alone. I have plenty of friends who are looking forward to having my own home. They have not come here, so they wouldn't bother Xavier. I also have my family."
Josephine was never going to be alone.
