Chapter 1 - Awakening

The first thing that crossed my mind when my eyes opened wasn't my roommate gooning to femboy's or his disgusting chewing sounds. But a flood of bright light washed over my eyes.

A fresh, refreshing and bit tangy smell wafted in the air, a stark contrast to the usual crusty smell in my dorm room. If you stick three horny 16 year olds in one room, that's what you get.

I twisted my body over, as I looked at the clear blue sky, the rays landing all over the grains as my hand passed through them. Almost immediately I realised something, this wasn't my world.

Thinking of being teleported into an unknown world just brought a smile onto my face, I was hella depressed, gooning to midget porn with no friends. Maybe this could be my redemption, a new chance in life. But the first thing I needed to know was which world was I fucking transported too.

If it was something like Lord of The Mysteries, Cthulu Mythos SCP, DC or Marvel. It would be easier killing myself, no way was I going to survive any of those worlds unless some God blessed me with his almighty powers.

I stood up with a bit of excitement and warniess, but that was all displaced by a smooth voice brushing past in my head.

[Aspirant! Welcome to The Nightmare Spell. Prepare for your Trial..]

My breath stopped before a grin washed over my face, the Nightmare Spell, from Shadow Slave? Shadow Slave's Nightmare Spell?

Oh hell yes, while this world wasn't as terrifying as the other worlds, it was still bad in its own regard. It was his favorite novel, it definitely wasn't because he loved Nephis and gooned to her for like three days.

But because the power system was fun and the characters had depth, that definitely was the reason. My hands trembled, not with fear but with excitement and thrill.

Wait, I was talking about gooning to midgets, fuck! If I'm an original character in a fan-fic, my reputation is going to be trashed! Let's do this again.

Casper lifted his head, his brown hair slightly fluttering in the wind, he gave off a cool and composed aura. His brown eyes focused on the sea in front of him, he tucked his overgrown hair behind his ear and gave a solemn look.

He raised his hand and pointed at the sea, "This seems like a good time for a drink and a cold calculated speech with a sinister undertone. A speech about survival… about order, brotherhood, power. But speeches are for campaigning, now is the time for action."

Casper muttered under his breath, his eyes were deep but calm. His lips parted into a smile, 'That was so fucking cool, I love transmigration."

Casper's cool monologue was broken by a sharp and high pitch voice coming from the coast, "Captain, we are ready to set sail. The Followers of War shall be vanquished!"

Casper turned with irritation, why was this burly man interrupting him in his monologue. But then he quickly remembered that he was in his First Nightmare, and he had to complete it.

His scowl was smoothly replaced by a pleasant smile, his acting skills even surprised him, "I'm coming, what do you feel about this war. Do you think it's justified that our lord is doing it?"

Casper quietly probed, his ear perked up as he tried to glean some information. "Well the followers of the War God attacked us first, it's totally fair that the Lord of Light is taking revenge.

"In my own opinion I say that we should retaliate even more, the followers of the War God should be done away with?"

'So it seems that my Nightmare is focused on the war between the War God and the Sun God, is this after they started living in Hope's Kingdom or before? Has Hope been chained yet?'

Casper's mind rushed to formulate some theories, but he was lacking some information. In the end he decided that he could only figure out the timeline by advancing the Nightmare, which meant going to war.

'Oh wait, I still haven't checked my runes!," Casper chided himself in his mind, he willed his mind to show him his runes, and within moments a yellow screen started weaving itself.

Casper's eyes twitched looking at his Aspect,

'Shakespeare couldn't decipher this, why does it always have to be so vague!' Casper critiqued in his mind, the absolute uselessness of his Aspect gnawed at him.

'This could be a flaw by itself,' he slightly complained in his mind. Casper then summoned the runes for his memories, many of them were a mystery to himself.

'It seems the Spell has already figured out I'm not from this world, but why have I been given [Dreamspawn]? I guess I'll learn about it in the future.'

Casper's eyes then wandered to his attributes as he slightly whistled, they were all quite strong, 'Does Incorporeal mean I can become intangible? I'm about to exploit the fuck out of this, Obito would get jealous about how I'm using it.'

Casper slightly praised himself, he was definitely not screwed. As long as he did well in the Nightmare, he might get a Divine Aspect! The potential was definitely there.

Casper and the man walked across the sandy coast for a few minutes, their sandals sinking into the sand as grains stuck to their feet. Within a few moments, they arrived in front of an armada of ships.

Their fleet was equipped with destroyers, triremes, diere, battleships and cruisers. Casper himself counted 250 ships in total, enough to take down an entire nation. His eyes widened with surprise, "How many troops do we have in total?" Casper asked the tall and burly man.

He put his hand on his chin as he thought hard, "I guess almost twenty five thousand." Casper nodded with a bit of unease, such an army was incredible. He wondered if the followers of War had such a fleet.

"What's your name, soldier?" The man seemed surprised by his question as he quickly answered, "Near, sir!"

He nodded his head as he remembered his name, Casper walked towards a Triremes, which was larger than the rest and started boarding it.
