During these days on this unfamiliar island, Rachel hadn't watched TV or contacted anyone. These were the most peaceful days of her life.
In the mornings, she would play with Nora in the seaside villa where she was staying. In the afternoons, she would nap with Nora, and in the evening, as the sun set over the horizon, she would take Nora to sit on the beach.
Nora was always well-behaved, lying in her stroller, not crying or fussing, as if sensing her mother's low spirits. She would play by herself, waving her little fists.
Rachel would push the stroller back to the villa as the sun disappeared.
The villa was fully equipped with doctors and servants, so she didn't need to worry about anything.
After enjoying the delicious dinner prepared by the servants, she would take Nora back to their room and spend the day.
