At the villa.
"Mr. Scott, Madam has finished helping Jackson with his homework and has gone back to her room." In the living room, Ann reported to Kingsly, who was sitting on the sofa.
Kingsly's usually composed and handsome face showed signs of fatigue.
Seeing no response from Kingsly, Ann continued, "Mr. Scott, if a couple's estrangement lasts too long, it affects their relationship… If there's any misunderstanding between you and Madam, you should talk it out. There's nothing that can't be resolved between a husband and wife."
"I know." Kingsly pinched the bridge of his nose. "You can go now."
"Yes."
After Ann left, Kingsly let out a soft sigh.
It wasn't that he didn't want to explain everything to her, but… she seemed indifferent to everything.
Since returning from that small island off the North Coast of the States, she hardly talked to him about their relationship.
