The boy's skin was rough, his appearance bizarre, as if entirely made from mud and sand—a puppet doll sculpted from the earth. He squinted joyously at the flesh monster being chased away by the black Rock Giant, chatting as bits of soil and clay continued to fall from his nose, eyebrows, and mouth.
"Did I hear your name is Lufer? That many have died by your hands?"
"Pity, I don't have a drop of blood for you to suck..."
"You seem much weaker than the rumors said.
Last time I met someone who could morph into various wild beasts, far stronger than you..."
As he spoke, the strange boy's mud-sculpted eyeballs rolled around, and his stiff, rough face suddenly twisted into a vicious, cold demeanor.
He stared intently at the fleeing Flesh monster, his voice sharp as if hard stones were grinding fiercely.
"Kill him, Venus!"
"Quickly kill him! Then we'll find our next toy..."
As if commanded by the boy, the massive black Rock Giant pounded its chest and let out a deep, majestic roar.
