Dariel got out of the carriage and so did the carriage driver. He fixed up his attire and removed every crease, he scoffed, the entire town was full of traffic, the roads were crowded with little or no way for the carriages to pass through.
This turned what was supposed to be an hour's journey into a two hour one, which was why Dariel was furious. Even in front of the castle where the carriage had been parked was cramped with other people.
"My lord, Lady Angelica's chest, where do I carry it?" the carriage driver turned to him and asked.
"Wait." He said, there was no way he would help the carriage driver carry the chest out again. It was way too heavy. Dariel walked up the steps to the castle's entrance and stopped right in front of the guards stationed there.
"You two, come and carry out my daughter's chest from the carriage." He commanded instantly, there was no need for greetings when they would obviously not greet him back.
