After passing through the underwater cave, Ethan and Bobby swam upward and soon surfaced in another pool. It looked just like the last one—same kind of valley, nearly identical surroundings.
"Boss, don't tell me we ended up back where we started?" Bobby asked.
"No. While the corpses may have despawned by now, battle traces wouldn't disappear so quickly. No signs of a fight here," Ethan replied as he climbed ashore and headed out of the valley. Bobby quickly followed.
Outside the valley was yet another bamboo forest. If Ethan hadn't been confident in his judgment, even he would've thought they'd returned to the same place.
"Boss, it really feels like the same place… even the bamboo looks identical," Bobby said, puzzled.
"It's not. This place is way more dangerous—stay alert," Ethan replied, taking the lead into the forest.
