Lu Mingfei looked at Ren Asakura, who was smiling.
"So, what do we do next?"
Ren Asakura seemed to have thought of all kinds of interesting ideas.
"Relax—the real show is just getting started."
Now both Constantine and Norton had awakened.
Twin Dragon Kings—one representing authority, the other strength.
"Heh heh! Done catching up?"
Ren Asakura walked up to the two Dragon Kings with a bright, cheerful smile on his face.
Norton was about to get angry, but a flash of the scene where both he and his brother died appeared in his mind.
"Who… are you?"
"I'm no one special—just an immortal. You should have some of my memories in your head. After all, you are Old Tang."
"Ren Asakura!"
Norton spat out the name, and immediately, Old Tang's memories came rushing back.
Previously, Norton's memories had suppressed Old Tang's.
Twenty years of Old Tang's life had been overwritten by Norton's ancient memories—so Norton hadn't recognized anyone.
But now, Norton remembered everything about being Old Tang.
"You're the one who woke us up. What is it you want?"
Norton pulled Constantine into his arms.
The gesture made him look like an overprotective mother hen.
After all, they had both just brushed past the gates of hell.
"It's simple. I just want to ask you one question: are you Norton or Old Tang?"
Norton answered bluntly.
"I am Norton—the King of Bronze and Fire."
As he spoke, a powerful, awe-inspiring dominance flashed through his eyes.
It was the pride of a true Dragon King.
A shadow of disappointment flickered in Lu Mingfei's eyes.
He had expected this outcome—but still, it hurt when it became real.
"I see. That makes things easier, then!"
Ren Asakura's face lit up with joy and amusement. At some point, a rope had appeared in his hand.
It glowed with a mysterious light and looked anything but ordinary.
Norton seemed to sense danger—the temperature around them began to rise again.
But Ren Asakura, like a cowboy wrangling a wild horse, spun the rope and tossed it straight at Norton's neck.
In an instant, the heat vanished.
Norton's Word Spirit was sealed.
Right after that, the scales on his body began to fade, and his two-meter-tall figure began to shrink.
Ren Asakura had sealed away all of Norton's power—
Forcing him to return to his human form: Old Tang.
Then Ren Asakura gave the rope a hard tug.
Norton felt a massive force pulling him—flinging him through the air.
"Brother!!"
Constantine reached out his hand, trying to grab his brother.
The next moment, Ren Asakura pointed his finger gently.
Constantine's power was sealed as well.
Unfamiliar with the sudden loss of strength, Constantine stumbled and fell to the ground.
"Constantine!"
Norton struggled to reach him, wanting to dash to his side.
But with his human strength, he was helpless—he could only watch as Constantine drifted farther and farther away.
"Jie jie jie!!!"
Ren Asakura cackled like a classic villain, completely immersed in the role and loving every second of it.
"Let go of my brother! Give me back my brother!"
Constantine stood up with great difficulty, pain and sorrow in his eyes.
Lu Mingfei quietly watched the deep bond between the two brothers.
He looked again at the mischievous grin on the group leader's face.
"Why do I feel like I'm the bad guy here?"
Even Mai hadn't expected such a dramatic scene to unfold in the lair of the Dragon Kings.
"I'm honestly out of words to describe how I feel right now."
Ren Asakura picked Norton up and tied him to the bronze pillar.
He wrapped the rope around him again and again—
Even human traffickers wouldn't be this professional.
After tying him up, Ren Asakura clapped his hands, admiring his own handiwork.
"I'll ask you again—are you Norton or Old Tang?"
Norton answered without hesitation.
"Old Tang doesn't exist. I am the Dragon King—Norton."
Ren Asakura nodded.
"I like that rebellious streak of yours. There was once a red-haired dog with nine tails just as wild as you."
"Brother!"
Constantine had gradually gotten used to a powerless body.
Seeing his brother bound, he rushed forward without hesitation. He had to protect him.
In front of the bronze pillar, Constantine spread his arms, standing firmly before Dragon King Norton.
His eyes were filled with unshakable resolve.
"Jie jie jie!!! As your humble guardian—ahem—as the group leader, I love this kind of brotherly affection… no, I mean dragonly affection!"
"Ren Asakura, come at me if you've got the guts! Don't lay a hand on my brother!"
Norton roared and struggled—
But now, powerless, he was no different from an ant.
The human body dulled the wisdom of a Dragon King.
Emotions, for humans, are deeply tied to physical instinct.
Norton, as Dragon King, probably hadn't even realized—now that his power was sealed, he seemed much more human.
And Constantine too.
The little brother who had always hidden behind his older brother—
Had finally grown up and learned to stand in front of him.
"Such touching brotherhood!"
Ren Asakura clapped his hands, thoroughly enjoying the drama.
Under the roasting flames, Norton's clothes had long turned to ash.
But his instincts as a Dragon King left him unconcerned with his nudity.
Constantine had only just been born, so naturally he had no clothes either.
Now that they were human—
With no dragon scales to protect them—
A lot was on full display.
Lu Mingfei muttered quietly.
"Why do I feel like the group leader's gaze is super creepy? Don't tell me he has that kind of fetish…"
Mai glanced at herself, then at Ren Asakura.
"It's possible. He's got a total beauty like me right in front of him and he's completely unmoved. Maybe he really is a bit… you know…"
She couldn't finish the sentence.
Ren Asakura turned and said,
"Black-hearted Boss Employee Handbook, Rule Number Two: no badmouthing the boss behind his back."
Mai: "...!"
Seeing his employee shut up, Ren Asakura turned back with the grin of a shady uncle.
"Relax, kiddo. Uncle will take you to see some goldfish. And my cat does backflips."
Lu Mingfei felt like the group leader was getting more and more unhinged—and maybe a little too into it.
But Constantine stood firm, still shielding his brother without hesitation.
Unfortunately, a Dragon King with a child's mind and sealed powers—
Was still just a child.
Ren Asakura merely flicked his finger.
And Constantine's body went flying.
"Old Lu, I'll leave this little guy to you!"
Lu Mingfei stared at the small boy hurtling toward him.
"What the hell, group leader! Don't just toss him at me like that!"
But he caught Constantine steadily.
The naked boy started struggling the moment he was in Lu Mingfei's arms.
He didn't have much strength, but he still flailed wildly, throwing Lu Mingfei into a minor panic.
"Let me go! Let me go!"
Constantine struggled with both hands and feet.
But Lu Mingfei's body had long since surpassed that of an ordinary human. Even without using spiritual energy, the strength in his arms was enough to lift a thousand pounds.
"Easy, easy! Don't worry, your brother will be fine."
But Constantine wasn't listening—still flailing like crazy.
Lu Mingfei had no choice but to use a simple binding spell to immobilize Constantine, whose powers had already been sealed.
