Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The Path of Hard Work

After she left my room, I was once again lost in my thoughts. How should I progress from here?

According to the ROB, I am talentless in all aspects. My only option is hard work. But how do I go about it?

Thanks to my cheat, I can practice Ninjutsu and Fuinjutsu with ease. However, my main issue is improving my body. There's only one way I can think of—"Might Guy."

For now, I'll focus on passing the academy exam. After that, I'll see how things go. My training starts tomorrow.

With that thought, I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes.

---

My eyelids slowly opened, and I yawned before getting up. Time to freshen up.

After taking a bath and changing into fresh clothes, I stepped outside. A beautiful sight greeted me—lush green trees swayed gently in the breeze, their leaves glistening under the morning sun. Walking further, I found myself on the bustling streets of Konoha. People were busy with their daily lives, moving about in an endless flow.

Shops lined both sides of the street, selling all kinds of goods—ninja tools, fresh produce, meat, ramen, and much more. The lively atmosphere made it an enjoyable scene.

After taking in the surroundings for a moment, I made my way toward my aunt's house, which was on the other side of the street. As I approached, my stomach let out a loud growl. Looks like I'm hungry.

Reaching the house, I knocked on the door. A few moments later, it opened, and my aunt stood before me in her casual clothes. Her pitch-black hair cascaded down her shoulders, slightly swaying. Her face was just as beautiful as I remembered from yesterday.

Appreciating the sight before me, I greeted her, "Hello, Aunt. How was your night?"

She smiled and replied, "It was good."

Without wasting time, I said, "I'm quite hungry. How about we have breakfast?"

She nodded and invited me inside. The house was simple—not too extravagant, yet not too plain. It had a cozy charm to it.

I took a seat at the dining table. After about thirty minutes, she returned with plates full of delicious food, and we began eating.

After eating to my heart's content, I leaned back in satisfaction. "Aunt, thank you for the meal. But now, I have to go. I want to read the books my parents left behind and work on unlocking my chakra. I also need to study some theoretical knowledge."

She gave me a warm smile and nodded.

With that, I left her house and headed straight back home.

---

Once inside, I went directly to the bookshelf and picked up a book titled "The Basic Theories of Chakra." It covered chakra's properties, unlocking methods, and its fundamental nature. The book contained about 300 pages, so I sat down and began reading.

Seven hours passed in the blink of an eye. In that time, I had finished reading three books, absorbing as much theoretical knowledge as I could. Now, it was time to apply it.

Sitting cross-legged, I took a deep breath and focused on entering my mental space.

After about five minutes, I succeeded. The space was vast and empty, filled with nothing but a white void. However, in the corner, I noticed a bookshelf. Upon closer inspection, I saw the three books I had just read neatly placed on it.

Realizing this, I began reading and understanding the books on a deeper level.

Days turned into weeks, and unknowingly, a month had passed.

During this time, I studied various chakra theories—the combination of physical and spiritual energy, methods of extracting chakra from cells, the number of chakra points, and how to refine chakra further.

However, I came to a frustrating realization. I have no talent in this world.

Despite spending a month solely on studying chakra, my progress was slow. I had barely grasped 20% of the knowledge. It's embarrassing...

But there was no use complaining. Hard work was my only path forward.

Determined, I returned to my studies.

Some days, I struggled to grasp certain details. Other times, I felt frustrated and unmotivated. But I pushed through.

After an entire year of relentless effort, I had finally finished the books.

Yet, an overwhelming sense of loneliness crept in. It felt like I was trapped in a prison, bound by my own will to work myself to the bone.

Shaking off the thoughts, I decided to move on to the next step—unlocking my chakra.

Sitting in a meditative posture, I focused all my energy on awakening the dormant chakra within me.

Two months passed.

Finally, I succeeded.

A warm sensation coursed through my body. But when I examined my chakra pool… it was miserable. The size was laughable.

I sighed. There's nothing I can do about my natural limitations.

With that in mind, I made a new decision—I would dedicate 4 to 5 years inside my mental space for training, while balancing it with physical exercises in the real world.

---

Four Years Later

Time felt like an eternity.

I don't know if I have some mental issues, but I somehow endured four years of constant training. It was exhausting, yet fulfilling.

Currently, I could stick a leaf on my forehead for 45 minutes. A significant improvement.

If I kept up this pace, I would fully master the Leaf Exercise in three more days. After that, I'd move on to other training until the academy test.

Exiting my mental space, I returned to reality and continued my training. It took another four hours to replicate my chakra control achievements in the real world.

Exhausted, I collapsed onto my bed and instantly fell asleep.

The Next Day

The sun was rising when I woke up.

Quickly freshening up, I went to my aunt's house, had breakfast, and returned home. My routine remained unchanged—reading books on the nations and the world, followed by practicing chakra control.

Three more days passed.

Now, I could hold the leaf on my forehead for 2 hours and 15 minutes—a good standard for beginning basic Jutsu training.

With the remaining days before the academy test, I decided to focus on kunai throwing.

Once again, I entered my mental space and imagined targets placed 29 meters away.

This would be another long journey—at least eight years to perfect.

But I was ready.

This was only the beginning.
