Aravind put the cap on the marker. " That will be it for today. Thank you ". The class also echoed back a thank you. Aravind smiled and walked out. He went to the staff room and sat down in his seat. He looked up when a student called for him. " Yes ? " " I have a doubt in this topic ". She put a text book and a note book with a pen on the table.
Aravind looked at it and picked up the pen. He finished explaining it. " Got it ? " She nodded. " Thank you sir ". She took her books putting them in the bag. " If I am not wrong, it is not a book for your year. You are from second year right... " He looked at her ID card. " Sammy ? " She smiled.
" I am interested in it, so... " Aravind nodded and looked down to continue his work. " Sir ". He looked up. " I have something to ask you ". Aravind nodded. " I saw someone pick you up in a car... " She trailed off. " Nothing sir. I am sorry ". She quickly rushed out of there. Aravind shook his head and looked down again.
The next day, once the classes were over, Aravind walked out of the campus. He found the car parked in its usual place. He was about to get in when he saw Sammy walking in the front. " Sammy ". He called out and she turned around. She started walking to him. Aravind looked inside the window. " Get out ".
The door on the other side opened and Dev got down in shorts and t-shirt. He went to stand beside Aravind. Sammy walked up to them and looked at them with curiosity. " You asked me, didn't you ? He is my husband ". Sammy covered her mouth in shock. " Hello sir ". She greeted Dev. Dev smiled. " Hello ".
He turned to Aravind. " Is it her ? " Aravind nodded. " Which year are you in ? " " Second ". Dev nodded. " Do you mind working a summer internship ? Of course you will have a pay. I can also give you a certificate or letter, whatever you want ". Sammy was even more shocked. She nodded in a hurry.
" Sure ". Dev smiled. " He will let you know about it ". She nodded and walked away. The both of them got in the car and drove away. " You actually need not hire her you know ". Aravind said. " Why not ? The three of them you told me about are awesome. I am happy to have them working under me. So I can't leave out when you mention it ".
Aravind shook his head with a smile. Dev while working for the company made wonderful progress and he established repair centers and some new showrooms in different cities with collaboration with the company. He had more than 50% share in it and he still worked for the company so they agreed to that condition.
He was busy managing them and also working at the same time. He would still pick up Aravind whenever he had the chance. Aravind told him to not do it but he never listened. Aravind got an offer to work as an assistant professor when he applied while doing his Ph.D. He joined it immediately.
He also finished his Ph.D. in 5 years after working nonstop. He even published three research papers. And they also got married 2 years ago. When Dev was fully settled down, he proposed and Aravind accepted it. They didn't want it to be big. So they only informed their gang, parents, Vasu and Krishna. They all came over and had a small wedding.
They couldn't do it the traditional way, so they exchanged rings instead and got the certificate. They went on a honeymoon which was a week long and then went back to their lives. Dev parked the car and they walked in. It was a house that Dev brought after his business did well. Dev sat on the couch.
Aravind went to the bedroom, changed his clothes and went to the living room. He went and slept on the couch with his head in Dev's lap. He continued to observe Dev's face as he typed on his phone. Dev put the phone away and saw Aravind looking at him. " What is it ? " " You seriously got more charming ". Dev laughed.
" Are you trying to seduce me ? " " I think I would appreciate an increase in my allowances. What do you say hubby ? " Dev rubbed his chin. " Since you called out so sweetly, I guess I will give it a thought ". Aravind laughed. He got up, moving to sit across Dev's lap. He put his hands around Dev's neck.
" Then I should be nicer to you ". " Really ? " Dev cocked an eyebrow moving his face closer. Aravind smiled and kissed Dev's cheek. " Yes hubby ". Dev put one hand under Aravind's knees and the other around his waist and picked him up. Aravind laughed as Dev carried him to the bedroom.
