Third person point of view
The next day, Aravind finished his class and Sammy was waiting outside for him. " Mind coming with me ? " She nodded and followed Aravind to his office. Aravind took out a card. " The address is in the back and the number too. Once you finish your exams, you can go there to talk. Do it only if you want to. There is no compulsion ". Sammy nodded.
" Thank you so much sir ". Aravind smiled. " Also... I didn't mean to invade your private life. I am sorry about that ". Sammy looked apologetic. " I did not tell you because you asked me. I told you because I trusted you. And if I had to tell you about this internship, I should've told you anyway ". Sammy smiled and let out a breath.
" Thank you once again sir ". Aravind smiled. " All the best ". Sammy smiled and walked away. After classes she walked out and saw the car there again. Dev was standing in a more formal attire than the other day while speaking on the phone. Sammy waved at him and he greeted her back. She walked away.
Aravind walked out and saw Dev again. He let out a sigh and went up to him. He hit him on the back and Dev turned around startled. He hung up and the both of them got in the car. Dev drove away from there. Aravind frowned. " I told you not to come pick me up. Did I or not ? " Dev smiled. " I also told you I won't stop. Get yourself a vehicle, then I will let you be ".
Aravind shook his head. This was a never ending cycle. Dev grinned. " You are not the one driving anyway. So just enjoy the ride ". " Tsk ". Aravind turned to Dev. Dev reached out his hand to pinch Aravind's cheek. " Cute boy, I am not tired. When it comes to you, it is nothing ". Aravind snickered. " How long will you use that nickname ? Not like we are young ".
" I will forever. You are my cute boy even when we both come to an age of using canes ". Aravind laughed. " Sounds good to me ". Dev smiled. They stopped at a signal and Dev pulled Aravind for a kiss. Aravind's eyes went wide. He kissed back but quickly pushed Dev away and sat back. " You seriously have no shame ".
Dev put his hand on Aravind's thigh. " What for ? We are married, aren't we ? " Aravind shook his head. " If you try something, I am throwing you out and going home by myself ". Dev laughed. He removed his hand from Aravind's thigh. " I didn't have any ideas. Looks like you do though ". He wiggled his eyebrows.
Aravind flushed. " Just drive. It changed ". Dev chuckled and let him be. Aravind smiled looking out of the window. He wondered if they really would be like that even after reaching their 60s. He turned to Dev. The past few years weren't that smooth of a sail. They had a fair share of up and downs too.
There was a time when Dev threw a glass, shattering it into pieces in anger because of some things outside. That was the very first time Aravind also witnessed Dev's anger in full force. He was also a bit scared and panicking inside. The only way Aravind got Dev to calm down was by kissing him and sacrificing his ass.
There was also a time when Dev kneeled in front of Aravind begging for forgiveness. Dev's heart was clenching at the sight of Aravind crying and looking at him with red eyes. When Dev finally got to hug Aravind, he coaxed Aravind relentlessly with endless kisses and sweet words and got him to calm down. It left a really big mark in his heart.
They also had times when they were happily romancing without a care for the world. Aravind tutted. " My life is a fucking rollercoaster because of you ". Dev scoffed with a smile. " Don't you think a monotonous life would be really boring ? " Aravind shook his head with a chuckle. In a way, his love life was settled pretty quickly than he expected.
So he had to give credit to Dev for making his life more colorful. Aravind smiled and interlocked his fingers with Dev's hand which was free. He put it on his own lap. Dev smiled wider and held it back. He brought it to his lips and kissed Aravind's hand. " Sneaky bastard ". Aravind cursed. Dev laughed. " Right ". Aravind also laughed.
He realized once again that he would never regret any of his decisions. He sighed in content. Looks like his life had a happy ending. " I love you Devanand ". Aravind declared in a soft voice with strong conviction. Dev grinned wider. " I love you too, my dear Aravind ". Aravind smiled. Dev groaned. " Let's go home quickly. I really can't wait ". Aravind laughed.
( If it is a scene from a movie or drama, they would show the car driving away from the back and turn the screen black. ROLL THE TITLES ! )
THE END.
