The Skylance pierced the sky and left the isolated island carrying Oliver and Achara.
It took them less than an hour to return to Dragon City.
By the time they landed on the military hanger, they saw Root waiting for them.
Oliver casually walked out of the Skylance and went towards Root.
"Boss, you are alive!" Root said with a smile.
Oliver rolled his eyes, "Of course I am. As I said, nothing in this world can kill me."
"You escaped alive from the clutches of an S-ranked demon. I might have to agree with that."
Root didn't probe further into the exact situation. He let it be and decided to trust Oliver.
Something that can save a person from an S-ranked enemy is better kept a secret.
"Hm…"Oliver nodded and asked shortly afterwards, "Where is the little fishy?"
"Little Koi is okay, it is recovering fine. I left him inside the 'car'."
"You left it alone with the dragon meat? The glutton will empty it…"
"What are you talking about?" Suddenly, Achara interjected.
