Chapter 248 - Is This Really The Earth?

"God of Magic!"

"And the ignorant, paranoid Earthlings!"

"I am coming!"

"I am the Supreme Evolution, from the deep and mysterious universe."

"I have traveled across the vast Galaxy and arrived on Earth."

"Perhaps you do not know me. That's fine. After all, your arrogance never ceases, just like when I first came to this planet years ago."

"You possess nothing but spirit, art, music, and literature."

"But know this—I am your invincible."

"I am the creator—the architect of the new world!"

"And your so-called master, the God of Magic, stole one of my experimental subjects and led a surprise assault on my collective."

"Now, I demand that you surrender 89P13. Its body, the raccoon from your world, was reborn through my transformation—granted new life and unparalleled wisdom."

"You may, of course, refuse."

"But know this: 89P13 has less than a day left to live."

"Are you truly willing to see your planet reduced to cosmic dust over such recklessness?"

"God of Magic, are you listening?"

"You have thirty minutes. Surrender. Apologize for your idiotic interference. Hand over the experimental subjects you've sheltered, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the so-called 'slaughter doctors' who raided the Ego Group."

"Or let the entire world suffer the consequences of your stupidity."

"Make your decision!"

"For a worthless experiment, surely even you understand which path is wiser."

The cold, haughty voice of the Supreme Evolution echoed across the internet.

Everyone heard the arrogance laced in his speech.

And beyond the rhetoric, a terrifying show of force was displayed.

A massive battleship. A fleet of spacecraft.

And more disturbingly—

Countless grotesque, beastlike creations floated outside the ships, unprotected, snarling at Earth.

These were the product of the Supreme Evolution's experiment #467—the Sons of Hell Legion.

Originally intended to guard the New World, they were now unleashed against Aaron.

The "New World" was the Supreme Evolution's utopian project for a perfected society—a world once known as "Anti-Earth."

This Anti-Earth was a replica of our planet, combined with human and animal genetics, inspired by Earth's own cultural and biological legacy.

It was meant to be a better Earth.

But the Anti-Earth project failed.

Though its species bore aesthetics, they inherited the same corruption, pettiness, and contradictions of humankind.

Still, for the sake of scientific observation and societal modeling, the Supreme Evolution kept Anti-Earth running.

Originally, it was to be terminated once the next-generation species were ready.

But due to the interference of 89P13 and Aaron, he ended it prematurely.

Using advanced gravity manipulation, he destabilized Anti-Earth, turning it into yet another failed entry in his long list of discarded experiments.

One of countless abandoned worlds.

Now, he had moved on to developing superior species—his latest and greatest hurdle being Rocket Raccoon's brain.

If he succeeded in replicating its structure, the cognitive leap in his creations would revolutionize his utopia.

That's why he must have Rocket's brain—arguably the smartest in the universe after his own.

He was even willing to wage war with the God of Magic for it.

The Supreme Evolution believed that Aaron would have no choice but to comply.

After all, between sacrificing a dying experimental subject and saving an entire planet, wasn't the answer obvious?

And even if Aaron refused—

Surely Earth's citizens would force him to yield.

He knew Earthlings.

A chaotic mix of brilliance and brutality.

Spiritually, Earth was among the best in the Galaxy.

Morally? It stood among the worst.

When faced with survival, Earthlings would even turn on their own without hesitation.

And so, his ultimatum left no room for negotiation.

Earthlings would behave as predicted.

But the outcome was... unexpected.

United by the mystic web of magic, Earth responded with silence.

Had it been any other hero, perhaps they'd have given in.

But this involved the God of Magic. So they refused.

After the initial shock, regions around the world resumed their daily lives, undisturbed by the threat of annihilation.

They had faced alien invasions, gods, demons—Earth had seen it all.

Unless the enemy displayed overwhelming power, panic would not take root.

The Supreme Evolution's warning alone was not enough.

Even the Avengers showed little concern.

They were still verifying the Supreme Evolution's claims.

Nick Fury analyzed the intelligence retrieved by the Skrulls.

Carol Danvers accessed the Galaxy Network for data.

The results were troubling.

The Supreme Evolution wielded immense military might, and had deep ties with funders and armies, including the Sovereigns.

His technology was suspected to have planet-destroying capability.

He was a cosmic-level force.

Though brutal, he rarely provoked strong civilizations—his experiments were usually conducted on weaker species.

He was, in a sense, a neutral entity.

Dangerous, but not aggressive.

Still, his power was undeniable.

Yet... not invincible.

Nick Fury and the others knew how much Aaron had achieved recently—victories that defied logic.

In comparison, the Supreme Evolution's legacy felt underwhelming.

With this mindset, the Avengers simply tightened surveillance.

They stood ready to engage if war erupted.

But until then, they carried on.

What else could they do?

No one controls the God of Magic.

They had a better shot challenging the Supreme Evolution than convincing Aaron of anything.

At that moment...

The Supreme Evolution was baffled.

He had accounted for many possibilities—

But Earth's utter non-response?

Unbelievable.

This shattered his entire psychological model of Earthlings.

Nothing was unfolding as expected.

There should've been panic. Debate. Diplomacy. Resistance.

Not this...

Toad-like stillness.

Were they mocking him?

Was this fear?

Or something worse?

He was livid.

"Your Majesty, should we continue the countdown?" one of his officers asked, bewildered by the lack of response.

"Have you located the God of Magic?" he growled.

"We've narrowed it to a few regions. We're investigating them one by one."

"Then release the Abrix Behemoth! Teach them a lesson!"

"And unleash the Sons of Hell!"

"They won't cry until they see the coffin!"

The Supreme Evolution clenched his jaw.

His pride was being trampled.

Earth wasn't taking him seriously.

Soon—

Three colossal monsters descended.

And with them, a wave of Sons of Hell.

The Abrix Behemoths—multi-dimensional creatures that fed on energy cells and resisted nearly all attacks—were unleashed.

Each one could decimate a specialized combat unit.

Alongside the Sons of Hell, they were like a hellish horde made flesh.

The Avengers sprang into action.

With aerial carriers and fighter jets, they met the invaders in the skies.

Magic, golden projectiles, and missiles lit up the battlefield, momentarily pushing back the Supreme Evolution's forces.

He was shocked.

When he'd last come to Earth, its people were primitive and unaware of his presence.

Now?

Their military strength was formidable.

They were forcing his legion into a desperate fight.

If not for sheer numbers, they would've lost already.

Earth's individual combatants were undeniably stronger.

"What happened here?" the Supreme Evolution muttered. "Why are Earthlings so different now?"

A deep unease settled over him.

On the battlefield, the Abrix Behemoths swung massive tentacles, devouring energy or flinging enemies aside.

Though not naturally hostile to life, when agitated by environmental shifts, they became uncontrollably violent.

Combined with their dimensional travel and resistance to damage, they were lethal opponents.

Even Drax the Destroyer couldn't face one alone.

Their presence caused chaos on Earth.

Captain Marvel and magician Tony Stark prepared to intervene.

But then—

Gwen arrived.

With a flick of her hand, glowing energy tendrils bound the behemoth, rendering it immobile.

Behind her came Sif Amora.

Their arrival turned the tide immediately.

The battle was no longer close—it was domination.

The Supreme Evolution's expression darkened.

Earthlings had changed too much.

Was this the so-called magic?

The power granted by the God of Magic?

The mysterious force reshaping the Galaxy itself?

And then, his eyes landed on a figure—unfamiliar to most, but unmistakable to him.

The true target of this invasion.

The God of Magic—

Aaron.
