Chapter 249 - Who Gave You the Courage? Suicide!

"Damn God of Magic, you finally decided to take the lead!"

Upon seeing Aaron, the Supreme Evolution immediately forgot everything else.

To him, aside from 89P13, Aaron was the one person guaranteed to unnerve him.

If not for them, how would his grand New World plan be constantly thwarted?

He had even been forced to intervene personally to repair the deteriorating situation.

"God of Magic, have you glimpsed a portion of my power?"

"There are still ten minutes left. It's time to make a choice!"

"Surrender? Or die!"

"I doubt you'd want to witness the final flash before this planet is annihilated."

The Supreme Evolution went on speaking, completely unaware that his threats only intensified the hostility against him.

The Eternals had long harbored resentment toward the Supreme Evolution.

This man dared to use Earth as leverage against them?

That couldn't be tolerated.

They had already wanted to put him in his place, to protect millennia of effort from being destroyed.

It was only because of Aaron and the others' arrival that they restrained themselves, just as they had in previous crises.

The magicians of Kamar-Taj also refrained from intervening.

The Supreme Evolution wasn't considered a magical threat; unless Earth itself was imperiled, they wouldn't act lightly.

But due to his capacity to destroy the Earth, they remained secretly vigilant.

Generally speaking, enemies from the magical realm posed the greatest existential danger—they could annihilate not only planets but entire universes.

But that didn't mean physical threats couldn't do the same.

If someone possessed the capability to obliterate Earth, they would be dealt with equally ruthlessly.

In truth, even without Aaron, the Supreme Evolution wouldn't have been able to reverse the situation.

Compared to other major villains, he was still half a tier lower.

Although he appeared late in the original timeline, he was ultimately defeated by the combined strength of the Guardians of the Galaxy—a clear indication of how reliant he was on technological armor.

Once his gravity-control armor was destroyed, he was as fragile as any ordinary person.

That's why he seemed so weak despite allegedly having the power to destroy worlds.

Aaron had no respect for this kind of enemy—dependent on gear, with nearly nonexistent personal strength.

Destroying a planet?

He'd shattered entire dimensions—what were planets in comparison?

If it weren't for the Supreme Evolution's overwhelming arrogance, Aaron wouldn't even have bothered to show up.

As the Supreme Evolution's relentless taunts continued, Aaron grew increasingly impatient.

He was busy cultivating magic, yet this clown had the audacity to interrupt—broadcasting globally, threatening Earth without restraint.

Good grief, even the original Dimensional Lords Alliance wasn't this bold.

You had to admire his nerve.

He'd probably spent too long in Anti-Earth, reigning over the Galaxy with arrogance, no longer taking others seriously.

After all, here was someone who had existed in the universe for ages but hadn't even discovered the Celestial Host—still proclaiming there were no gods.

He even called himself the Creator.

A frog at the bottom of a well. Expecting wisdom from him was futile.

Forget it—just kill him.

Aaron lifted his head, not even bothering to respond to the Supreme Evolution.

His disdain and impatience were evident—even through a screen.

The Supreme Evolution could no longer contain his rage.

He thought he'd given the enemy enough time and respect.

But not only was his gesture unappreciated, he was being blatantly ignored—treated like nothing.

"You're courting death!"

"Full assault!"

"I want them all to pay!!!"

The Supreme Evolution unleashed everything at once, desperate to tear his enemies to shreds.

"Your Majesty, for heaven's sake—retreat!"

"The enemy's power far exceeds our expectations. We can't act rashly. We should pull back and assess their full strength."

"We're still unclear about the God of Magic's true capabilities. If he truly destroyed the Matrix Clan and obliterated a Galaxy, we must think long-term."

His adjutant tried to advise with growing anxiety.

Aaron's name had spread like wildfire—his deeds echoing across the cosmos.

They had heard of his feats and were deeply fearful.

Now, after witnessing his subordinates effortlessly crush the vanguard, they all wanted to retreat—to proceed with caution.

But the Supreme Evolution had lost all reason. He ignored every warning.

"Silence! Attack with everything you've got!"

"I already said—!"

"There. Are. No. Gods!"

"Don't make me repeat myself! Or you'll be the next batch of experimental subjects!"

"Understood?!"

His fury made everyone shudder.

The biomechanical controller relayed the Supreme Evolution's order to the entire army.

In an instant—

Countless Sons of Hell charged toward Earth.

Swarming out of the mothership, individual spacecraft and monstrosities filled the skies.

The sheer density of the oncoming force overwhelmed every field of view.

Even satellite imaging could no longer calculate their numbers.

But one thing was clear—Earth's conventional military was insufficient to repel this interstellar warlord.

However—

Aaron hadn't even made a move yet.

And already, this massive invasion force clashed with Sif and the others—who were more than ready for battle.

The earlier fight with the vanguard wasn't even a warm-up.

Now, with the real fight underway, Sif couldn't just sit idle.

Before Aaron could say a word, she and Amora—natural rivals—charged into the fray together.

Gwen, naturally, wasn't about to be left out.

Then came the Dark Phoenix.

The four of them were far stronger than average high-tier gods.

Even a Godfather wouldn't fare well against them.

Against this army of enhanced soldiers? There was zero danger.

Four beings on par with divine patriarchs—once they attacked with full power, the devastation was unimaginable.

From this point forward, the battle's outcome was no longer in doubt.

In the face of overwhelming strength, unless the enemy had matching power or sheer numbers like the Matrix Clan, they stood no chance.

All that remained was time—for the four of them to wipe out the entire army.

With no damage to themselves.

At most, a negligible energy loss.

And they weren't the only combatants.

The Avengers had joined the fray, as had S.P.E.A.R.

Even the Eternals had entered the battlefield.

Kamar-Taj dispatched several magicians as well.

Virtually all of Earth's forces were deployed, and the power they displayed was staggering.

The Supreme Evolution and his officers stood frozen.

They had only wanted to attack Earth.

Why did it feel like they'd poked a hornet's nest?

Who were the real intruders here?

Who were the true powerhouses?

They watched in horror as their carefully engineered hell legions were completely outmatched.

Utterly demolished!

It was as if no one could stand against the Earth's defenders.

One of their enemies could defeat ten—no, a hundred!

These weren't people. They were living weapons.

Their elite armies were nothing more than cannon fodder.

They weren't stupid.

While the fight still appeared even, they knew the truth.

They had already lost.

Forget the average magicians.

Just those four women alone—

They were walking weapons of mass destruction.

Every gesture killed thousands.

Once in the field, they were unstoppable—completely unimpeded.

Especially the woman in the red dress.

Her powers were inexplicable.

Whole segments of their army simply evaporated.

Gone—without warning.

Even with all their sensors, they couldn't comprehend her methods.

Then came another wave of bad news.

A second army—deployed to destroy the Sovereign people—had also been wiped out.

Supreme Evolution had created the Sovereign, so he knew their weaknesses.

He had prepared carefully.

But the only message received was: Total annihilation.

They had seen another woman in red—different from the first, but still godlike.

Only caught a glimpse of her lips moving.

Then—death. Every single soldier.

Only a few robots remained.

The footage they captured analyzed her words:

"All hostile lifeforms before me no longer exist."

That was the rough translation.

And just like that, Supreme Evolution felt a chill crawl up his spine.

What kind of beings had he provoked?

"These people... Damn it!"

"Your Majesty—we must retreat!"

"They're clearly united!"

"We can't win!"

His adjutant was shaking, voice trembling.

These were invincible entities.

Opposing them meant death.

Escape!

They had to flee!

Supreme Evolution was finally shaken from his delusion.

"We're pulling out!"

He gave the order.

Everyone on the bridge exhaled in relief.

But just as the pilot was about to execute the command—

They turned—and froze.

Their pupils dilated in shock.

The God they had feared had suddenly appeared before them.

Aaron's voice was calm, but carried immense pressure:

"I heard you were looking for me? Wanted me to surrender? Said you'd destroy Earth if I refused?"

"To be honest, I'm curious—who gave you the courage?"

"Liang Jingru?" (I can't find any other word or name that fits)

"Liang... who?"

Everyone in their terror-stricken stupor asked the same question.

But the Supreme Evolution, having studied Earth's culture, suddenly remembered a song.

Its name: Courage.

Sung by someone named Liang Jingru.

How ironic—the courage the Earthlings spoke of… and the situation they were in now.

Utterly laughable.

If he had the choice, he'd have never come to Earth.

"I... I can explain."

Supreme Evolution swallowed hard.

"No need. I heard you loud and clear. Someone woke me up. Do you know the price for that?"

Aaron stepped forward, his presence like a mountain crushing them under its weight.

"Oh, and didn't you say you'd destroy Earth?"

"Go ahead—let's see you try."

Aaron grinned.

The Supreme Evolution panicked, but hope sparked in his eyes.

Maybe... if he threatened Earth, he could still escape?

He quickly shifted to a stern tone, smiling with flattery.

"God of Magic, I know you're immensely powerful. But there's something you should consider before acting."

"I've already seized control of Earth's gravitational field. One thought from me—and this beautiful planet will be reduced to dust."

"Let me go. I won't do anything else. You go your way, I go mine. We never interfere again. How about that?"

"Oh? Is that so? Then why don't you try it?"

Aaron extended a hand in mock courtesy.

Signaling him to go ahead.

Supreme Evolution froze.

Was he serious?

Or mocking?

He decided to issue a small demonstration—to scare Aaron a little.

But the moment he tried to alter Earth's gravity—

His expression turned to horror.

Only two words remained in his mind:

It's over.
