"His Majesty?"
"His Majesty?!"
The supremely evolved adjutant called out softly.
Watching the expression of the Supreme Evolution shift from confidence to doubt, and finally to fear, they already knew the outcome.
They looked down at Earth.
Nothing happened.
In other words, the method of supreme evolution had failed.
Why?
Why?!
Even the Supreme Evolution couldn't understand.
He had indeed tried to manipulate Earth's gravity to achieve the desired effect.
But his power, like a stone sinking into the sea, had no effect on the planet whatsoever.
He was certain there was nothing wrong with his armor.
Gravity manipulation still functioned normally.
But why didn't it work on Earth?
Even the most advanced, highly evolved brain went blank.
Driven by a survival instinct, he grasped for any hope.
He changed targets immediately.
He released an invisible gravity wave, hoping to catch Aaron off guard and gain control in a desperate move.
But the same result repeated.
He unleashed a gravitational attack just like before—an attack powerful enough to bind and imprison Warlock Adam—yet it failed.
No!
Not failed.
It felt as though some kind of power had neutralized it.
What kind of power was this?
So familiar!
Aaron finally spoke. "Five five three."
"Feels familiar, doesn't it? Did you think you were the only one who could control gravity?"
"In the face of absolute power, your so-called supreme battle armor is nothing more than a pile of scrap metal."
Aaron clenched his right hand midair, and an overwhelming force instantly acted upon the Supreme Evolution, suspending him in the air.
The Supreme Evolution's body contorted under the multidirectional pressure, slamming into the edge of the cabin and sticking hard against the bulkhead.
Electric arcs and flashes danced from his armor under the intense pressure—until it was completely destroyed.
Without his armor's protection, the Supreme Evolution was no more than a fragile biological entity.
His facial skin peeled away under the force, revealing a grotesque, blood-red visage.
He screamed in agony.
His subordinates dared not move.
Their lives—and deaths—were at Aaron's whim.
Moreover, due to the arrogance and cruelty of the Supreme Evolution, many of them felt conflicted. Today's catastrophe had resulted from his pride and refusal to heed advice.
It was all because of 89P13 and Mephisto that they had ended up here—only to fall into a desperate situation.
Had Aaron not arrived in time, they had already begun planning to seize control and flee this hellish ship forever.
"Aaahhh~!"
The Supreme Evolution's screams grew more intense.
Until, at last, his fragile body—merged with unknown alloys—was crushed entirely under the force of gravity.
Thus ended the delusional dream of the Supreme Evolutionary Creator.
Aaron's cold gaze swept across those present.
He didn't kill them all.
They were still useful.
As the Supreme Evolution's closest subordinates, they held many of his secrets.
Keeping them alive meant those secrets could be uncovered—
And added to Aaron's own vast pool of knowledge.
With their core leadership eliminated, the external armies continued their charge, blindly following orders.
Some among them had intelligence, but without a new directive, they followed the last one given—
To fight to the death, to the very last.
These armies had all been transformed.
To them, the Supreme Evolution's orders were absolute.
By contrast, most of the higher-ups on the mothership were ordinary individuals outfitted with high-tech combat suits.
Cowardly and afraid of death, when faced with mortality, they easily chose betrayal.
Even knowing the Supreme Evolution had died, and the God of Magic had taken control of the mothership, they chose silence—
Sending the external armies to their deaths.
The transformed cyborg units and elite forces were annihilated.
Aaron had no reason to spare the loyalists of the Supreme Evolution. Their deaths were inevitable.
In war, there is no room for mercy.
To end the chaos, Aaron sent a message to Wanda and the others on Sovereign.
When Sovereign's heirs learned the Supreme Evolution was dead, they decided to return.
Their servants, however, were devastated by their impending departure.
High Priest Ayesha asked quietly, "Honored Messengers of the Gods, have we not served you well?"
"No, the war is simply over," Wanda replied, shaking her head.
She was no longer the naive girl who once met Aaron.
Clad in her scarlet leather jacket, she radiated nobility and allure.
The influence of Origin Magic Power made her aura deeply mysterious.
But that wasn't the most important thing—
It was her power.
Ayesha had never seen anything like it.
With a few simple words, Wanda had obliterated most of the Supreme Evolution's forces attacking Sovereign.
Had she not witnessed it herself, she would never have believed such supreme power existed.
Wanda was like a god from ancient Earth legends—omnipotent and unstoppable.
Yet she was subordinate to the God of Magic.
How powerful must Aaron be?
Even Jane and Daisy, though significantly less powerful, overwhelmed Sovereign's people with swift, unrelenting strength.
The maids serving them were radiant with admiration and treated them with reverence—
Even more zealously than they did the High Priest.
If Jane and Daisy weren't women, these maids would have likely thrown themselves at them, offering to bear children of divine lineage.
Then again, Sovereigns reproduce via genetic technology. Even two women could contribute their DNA.
Though the idea stirred their imagination, none dared voice it. Jane and Daisy wouldn't agree.
Still…
The atmosphere had changed.
These golden-skinned women, beautiful and eager, began to look at Aaron's group with hunger—
As if they wanted to "devour" them.
It was terrifying.
"Is the war truly over?" Ayesha asked in disbelief. "If the Supreme Evolution finds out his subordinates are all gone, he'll surely send reinforcements—or come himself!"
"Why don't you remain here a while longer? Whatever your needs, we will meet them."
The other golden women nodded vigorously, their eyes glowing.
"No need. The Supreme Evolution is dead. There's no danger. We have no reason to stay," Wanda said, refusing Ayesha's offer.
She opened a portal and left with Jane and Daisy.
Wanda's Origin Magic Power, now matured, allowed her to effortlessly open galaxy-scale portals.
Had she studied the Darkhold, she could've even used dark magic to project her consciousness into alternate universes—affecting even broader realms of space and time.
Realizing there was no convincing them, Ayesha could only watch them go—
Reluctantly.
She had always believed herself the most beautiful woman in the universe.
After all, she was the pinnacle of the Supreme Evolution's aesthetic research.
But not anymore.
Compared to Wanda, she was far from perfect.
Even Warlock Adam—created as the pinnacle of their genetic achievements—was no match.
Though Adam possessed many superpowers,
Wanda's genetic makeup was far beyond anything they had ever encountered.
It wasn't about quantity—it was a difference in the very level of existence.
Ayesha now yearned to walk the same path.
To improve herself. To perfect her genes.
To perhaps one day become worthy of the God of Magic.
"Yes," she declared. "Restart the energy battery project. We need more power—better genes!"
Thus began Ayesha's quest for transcendence.
In her fervor, she barely reacted to the news of the Supreme Evolution's death.
In her view, challenging such a flawless being as Aaron was the most foolish thing the Supreme Evolution had ever done.
It was suicide.
He deserved his fate.
Fortunately, she had betrayed him in time—and chosen the true path of perfection.
Time passed.
The Guardians of the Galaxy finally arrived in the solar system, just before the deadline.
Fully prepared to fight and resist the Supreme Evolution—
Only to find it was already over.
Wreckage of enemy ships littered space. The corpses of transformed soldiers floated lifelessly.
A massive warship, under the guidance of strangers, approached Earth.
The battle was over.
The Supreme Evolution—
Was dead.
One less way to save Rocket Raccoon.
Their only option now was to beg the God of Magic for help.
Upon reaching Earth, they immediately approached Aaron.
"Great God of Magic, please help Rocket. The Supreme Evolution installed a self-destruct device in his heart—he has less than a day left!"
"What self-destruct device?"
"It's just… huh?"
Star-Lord began to explain, but Mantis suddenly exclaimed in surprise.
"He's fine!"
"What do you mean, fine?"
"Yes! I can feel it—Rocket's emotions just shifted. He's back to normal!"
Mantis said it with certainty.
Everyone looked to Rocket's chest.
Star-Lord began scanning him.
"The self-destruct device is gone!"
"What?"
Everyone froze. Then, one by one, realization dawned.
It was the God of Magic.
When had he done it?
Could it have been… during that brief exchange?
Seeing their bewildered faces, Aaron offered no explanation.
"Shouldn't you be treating him? I'll leave the rest to you."
"Also, don't bother me again unless it's urgent. I've got matters to attend to. Got it?"
"Understood! Got it!"
Before they could process it, Aaron's figure vanished.
Only then did it hit them.
The self-destruct device that had caused them so much grief—had just vanished?
Just like that?
It was… nothing at all.
And beyond the solar system…
A figure cloaked in darkness gazed silently toward them.
He sighed.
"Too powerful…"
"As long as he exists in this universe, I will never succeed."
"Damn it…"
"Maybe… that's the only way…"
