As quick as he brought up his status he paused, a bit shocked at the change of his stats and even more shockingly were the changes to even more of his status than he thought.

He grinned happy that his gamble had worked, he wasn't getting a splitting headache anymore and he even felt that his thoughts were faster, seamlessly blending in with the entirety of his mind.
Though he also understood that he would need to be careful on what more knowledge he obtained, he still wasn't out of the woods yet.
But atleast he obtained enough time to fix things permanently.
He was a bit surprised though seeing that his stats had limit, but then again he was only human and therefore he understood his limits, limits of which he was gonna be breaking sooner or later.
But that was for later, for now he had something else to do.
Soon he'd be obtaining the deed to his warehouse, then from there he would start his goal of becoming a hybrid.
It was also times like these that he simply wanted to say fuck it and get himself bit by some supernatural creature already.
The town would be getting really dangerous to thread as with Peter Hale on and about, he'd sooner or later meet the man and he wasn't that happy with his chances with him.
But while on that thought he had realised something that he had overlooked for a while now.
He didn't know how to fight.
He had a sword on him and while it allowed him some semblance of protection with its magic nature, that still didn't mean that he could use it skillfully.
[Genius Comprehension] while allowing him an understanding of how to use it didn't give him real mastery, that was something that he realised so that meant that he needed to learn to both fight with his body and magic.
He had thought that he would have to wait for the warehouse in order to learn something like that or better yet go out into the field after achieving hybridization.
Now though those thoughts were quickly dashed.
He needed to know how to fight as soon as possible.
And he could only do what any self respecting transmigrator should have done.
Grind and grind his already available skills instead of adding more to his plate.

—[Beacon Hills Preserve]—
Markus after having gotten some semblance of an idea on how to train himself had quickly gotten to the preserve.
It was isolated enough that he didn't think anyone would find him here, besides maybe the supernatural but his senses were kicked up to a hundred so he atleast wouldn't be getting jumped on, hopefully.
He knew that it would be morning soon so for now he had been just scoping a good enough of land to set as his training field.
He of course quickly found it, just besides a clearing with a small pond not far away from him.
Since he has not the time for more extensive training he had set himself to atleast learn the Skill for swordplay.
So that was why he was slowly going through basic swordplay moves, moves that he had simply sought out online in hopes that it would be enough from there to get the skill.
He had been going over the moves a set multiple of times already, utilising his perks and even some unlikely skills to help him out such as [Dancing] to get the footwork on point and most weirdly [Sports] as it held a cache of fencing skills to it.
He wished that he could say that it took a while to get the skill but with the amount of body control and skills in his repertoire, it took only moments of going over the same moves before had the skill in his skills list.
[—Skills - Sports[A-] | Computer Programming [B+] | Academics[SS-] | Acting-[S+] | Aura Enhancement Technique[C+] | Cooking[SSS+] | Cooking Magic[E+] | Water Magic[F-] | Mana Control[C+] | State Of Matter Magic[C+] | Lying[E+] |Rune-Script Magic[D+] | Dancing[E-] | Singing[E+] | Instrumental Mastery[F+] | Gardening[D-] | Craft[C-] | Jury-rig[B+] | [Swordplay[F+] ]
In just an hour he had managed to get the skill and get some basics down, he wanted to master the skill and not simply know how to fight using it. The endeavour was successful as alongside the knowledge gained from skill he was also how building a deeper muscle memory of each slash, parry and strikes.
He'd need to keep practicing however in order to become more proficient in the skill.
Though that wasn't all that he hoped to obtain, he still needed to learn how to fight using his body, blade and magic in tandem.
Only when he got a good feel of using all three of those skills would he move on to other things.
But for now that was enough, he'd be making a daily schedule for his training during the day so as to manage his time better.
For now though it was about to be morning and he needed to go prepare for school.
He couldn't wait till he could use his [Split] ability to delegate the more mundane things to his clones though. He wanted to further focus on the supernatural side of the world soon as he was sure that he'd be meeting up with the hunters one of these days.

—[McCall Residence]—
Arriving back in his house he had just about to take a shower and take the grime of his body when he noticed something, someone was in his room.
His brother was inside his room and for some reason his aura felt... Different.
Not in a bad way but more in the sense that the anger that normally followed him around whenever anything related to him was present was muted, the most prevalent thing that he could feel was suspicion and wariness.
' That's probably not good...' He thought quickly stashing his sword inside his soul, one of the perks of Soul-Bound weapons.
And so after sensing that his mother was not home he walked up the stairs and into his room, opening the door his eyes squinted as he took the sight of his brother.
" Where were you." Scott growled out, a taint of malice and suspicion wafting from him.
But that wasn't what had his attention though.
What caught his attention was the sickly yellow eyes, sideburns and fangs currently out for anyone to see.
' Oh fuck...'
