First off, the fact that Sebastian kept calling Cesar my brother didn't sit well with me. I hated it. Why? Because of what I'd done with him just a week ago. Brothers and sisters don't do that. Couldn't ever.
Second, I really couldn't understand what Cesar could have done to make Sebastian so mad. It wasn't like he was at the Blackwell Estate. Why was he even in Leonard's office?
Sebastian looked over at me, then leaned back in his seat, pressing his weight into it like he was trying to hold something in. He stared up at the roof of the car.
"Well, your brother," he began.
I bit my lip hard, forcing myself not to correct him... Cesar is not my brother.
"Cesar told Leonard a bunch of stuff about me."
I turned sharply. "What kind of stuff?"
My curiosity spiked. What could Cesar have said that had Sebastian this rattled?
"Just… things I used to do. From way back. Before you."
"Okay… and what kind of things are we talking about?" I asked slowly, suspicion curling in my chest.
