Fujikaze Yukie stumbled along, occasionally letting out various cries for help, with four young boys and girls trailing behind her.
"This isn't right, is it?" Hinata said sympathetically.
"Yeah, let's help her," Sakura chimed in.
Even Sasuke showed a sympathetic expression, hesitating to speak several times.
Naruto was speechless. Are you guys getting too into character? He had to admire Fujikaze Yukie's acting skills. That staggering gait, the clothes torn just so, and the dust from multiple falls – she vividly portrayed a young maiden who had escaped from a den of monsters by sheer chance after being ravaged. The only thing missing was bloody footprints; with bloody footprints, her current state would look even more miserable than Danzo's before he died. Danzo should really learn from her; look, she even knew to crawl a few steps after falling before getting up and walking.
"How about..." Sasuke, after hesitating many times, finally voiced his opinion. He knew Naruto understood what he meant.
"Alright then, let her be captivated by your gaze, Sasuke," Naruto said, uttering an extremely chuuni phrase.
"???" Sasuke was stunned. How did the effect of my 'hypnotic eyes' sound so weird when you said it?
Sakura lowered her head in thought; she felt Naruto's words had a hidden meaning.
"Hey." Sasuke used Body Flicker to appear in front of the acting woman.
"Hmm?" Fujikaze Yukie looked up, then fainted.
Sakura stepped forward to support her. She felt Naruto's words just now were a warning to her; this woman might become infatuated with Sasuke, giving her another competitor. So Sakura preemptively supported Fujikaze Yukie, preventing her from getting close to Sasuke. Smelling the strong perfume on this actress, Sakura once again praised her own quick-wittedness. Absolutely cannot let Sasuke's clothes be stained with another woman's perfume.
Actually, Sasuke hadn't even thought of supporting her.
Looking at the two young girls before him, Naruto thought of the Raikage and Killer Bee. Those two were the AB Combo; these two were also, one A and one B.
"Yo, you're all here," Kakashi suddenly appeared.
Sasuke, hands in his pockets, said with an impatient tone, "Next time, give more specific mission details."
"Sorry about that. To avoid a repeat of what happened with Zabuza last time, I specifically went to investigate this mission, which took some time," Kakashi explained.
"So, what's the result?" Naruto asked.
"Rest assured, I've checked. This escort mission is just for an ordinary popular actress. No problem."
"Sensei Kakashi has gone to great trouble." Naruto felt Kakashi was like a salted fish that had flipped over, actually showing some initiative. But are you sure your investigation is correct?
Kakashi was actually scared. These two's track record was too ferocious; they really dared to fight anything. So he thoroughly investigated this mission: it was merely escorting an actress to the Land of Snow for filming. He had been to the Land of Snow many years ago; there weren't any particularly strong people there, and they were all concentrated in the royal palace. As long as these two didn't try to attack the royal palace, there wouldn't be any problems.
"Let me introduce everyone. This is the client for this mission, Sandayū Asama." Kakashi supported a man wearing dark glasses who was rubbing his neck.
"And that is the protection target for this mission," Kakashi said, pointing at Fujikaze Yukie, who was being supported by Sakura.
"Ah..." Sakura gasped. This woman is the mission target! Then wouldn't Sasuke have to protect her closely!?
"Hinata, let me take you back first."
"Okay, Naruto-kun."
He directly opened a portal to the back gate of the Hyuga compound.
"Naruto-kun, be careful."
"Mm."
Not daring to say much more, Naruto left. He was afraid of jinxing things (raising a flag).
"Let's go, Sensei Kakashi." Naruto ignored Sandayū, who was rubbing his neck and complaining. This kind of stupid client, whose initial request was just escorting an actress but who, after his own revisions, turned it into supporting a princess to restore her country – giving him a beating would be letting him off lightly.
Ultimately, Team Kakashi and the film crew Fujikaze Yukie was with boarded the ship heading to the Land of Snow.
On the ship, Naruto and Sasuke were practicing chakra nature transformation. Originally, Naruto had planned to drag Sasuke into the sea for training. But Kakashi said not to engage in activities with high physical exertion during a mission. Naruto had no choice but to give up. Normally, everyone could fool around however they wanted, but during a mission, Kakashi called the shots.
Sakura held a medical scroll, frowning intently as she read it. Learning medical ninjutsu took too long. She estimated that in two months, she could reach the point of treating general external injuries, but Naruto's ability could easily handle such external injuries. As for achieving a healing effect beyond Naruto's capabilities, Sakura didn't know how many years she would need to study.
[But I want to be helpful now!] Inner Sakura was so distressed she was banging her head on the ground.
"What's wrong? What are you worried about?" Kakashi asked, leaning against the railing and reading his book. As their team leader, he was always concerned about his squad's condition.
"I..."
"Feel useless, unable to help?" Kakashi was very smart; from the way Sakura looked at those two, he had roughly guessed.
"Mm." Sakura nodded.
Kakashi put away his book and sighed. Regarding those two, Kakashi sometimes felt he was superfluous. It was no easy feat for this young girl to want to be helpful.
"You've already found your accurate role, right?" Kakashi asked.
"Mm, I know," Sakura replied. In this team, her role was only support; when it came to offense, with those two teammates around, there was completely no need for her.
"It's good that you're learning medical ninjutsu; it can supplement the team's shortcomings. I can't teach you in this aspect; I'm not skilled in medical ninjutsu either."
"As for ninjutsu, Sakura, you know your chakra reserves, right?" Kakashi said. At the same time, Kakashi glanced at the two over there who were squandering chakra. Sasuke had quite a lot of chakra, at least several times his own. What frustrated Kakashi was Naruto. He himself knew the Wind Entanglement skill, but at most, he could maintain it for a little over a minute, and that was because his chakra control was stronger than Naruto's. But that kid? He could keep it active for an hour without even saying he was tired. The Uzumaki clan had large chakra reserves, but he had never seen this much. And this kid was only twelve; Kakashi couldn't even imagine how much chakra he would have when he was twenty.
"Sensei Kakashi, can you please stop discouraging me?"
"Ahem, Sakura, your talent for genjutsu is very high. The genjutsu I taught you last time was merely for self-protection. But this technique I'm teaching you now can allow you to be helpful when there are many people." Kakashi left one thing unsaid: If there are few people, don't even think about it; there won't be enough for those two to share.
"Thank you, Sensei Kakashi!" Sakura bowed gratefully.
"This technique can be cast on multiple people simultaneously, making them feel as if they've walked into a labyrinth. Those caught in the jutsu will wander unknowingly, as if bewildered by a fox. This technique is called Demonic Illusion: Fox Mind Jutsu."
Naruto instantly became alert. Kakashi, you're not insinuating something, are you?
"Why are we here!" Fujikaze Yukie rushed out of her room, slumped on the railing, and shouted at the sea.
"Morning," Naruto waved at her.
