A cold, mechanical voice echoed in Luya's consciousness, rousing him from slumber and leaving him momentarily disoriented.
Dragon Ball world? Saiyan system?
What the?! Did I just… travel through time? And I landed in the world of Dragon Ball? And I've even awakened a system?! Damn, this is way too sudden! Sure, he'd fantasized about this sort of thing, but not like this he wasn't mentally prepared at all!
When he opened his eyes, he was greeted by a vast, endless black starry sky.
Am I… drifting through space?
Suddenly noticing something, Luya gasped in shock. "No way! This spacecraft… It looks exactly like the spherical space pods used by Saiyans in Dragon Ball Z!"
He pinched his cheek hard. The sharp pain confirmed it this was real.
This wasn't a dream. He had really transmigrated into the Dragon Ball universe!
But… why am I inside a Saiyan space pod?
Still stunned, Luya quickly examined his surroundings, then glanced at himself. What he saw made his expression twist with disbelief.
He was clad in the standard-issue Saiyan combat armor similar to the type worn by Prince Vegeta during his initial Earth invasion and behind him… was a brown, fur-covered tail.
"A tail?!"
I'm a Saiyan?! No kidding! Not only did I transmigrate I actually became a full-blooded Saiyan!

Startled but intrigued, Luya responded quickly: "Yes! Open it!"

The moment the system completed its announcement, a torrent of terrifying energy erupted from within Luya's body. In an instant, the Saiyan pod trembled violently, its outer shell cracking under the pressure of his unrestrained power.
Panicked, Luya quickly suppressed his surging energy. Dammit, starting off with 100 million combat power?! That's insane! He felt like a walking nuclear bomb it was almost too much.
Trying to calm himself, Luya asked, "System, am I currently on Planet Vegeta? Or somewhere else in the Saiyan domain?"
[Ding! No, Host. You are currently in the timeline of Dragon Ball Super], the system replied flatly.
Hearing this, Luya froze then his eyes shot wide open. "Wait, what?! You've got to be kidding me!"
[I am not joking. While your current power level is considerable 100 million is far beyond Frieza's first-form strength it still pales in comparison to current powerhouses like Son Goku, Prince Vegeta, and others who have surpassed Super Saiyan God and entered realms such as Super Saiyan Blue.]
Luya: "..."
[Ding! Destination confirmed. The Saiyan pod you are currently in is en route to Planet Earth.]
At that, Luya finally exhaled in relief. Thank goodness. If he had crash-landed on some random, hostile planet like Vampa or Beerus' realm, it would've been a nightmare.
But a sudden thought struck him. He asked urgently, "Since we're in the Dragon Ball Super arc now, has the Universe 6 vs Universe 7 Tournament started yet?"
[Negative. Timeline synchronization indicates that we are in the early events of Resurrection 'F'. Both Son Goku and Vegeta have left Earth to train under Whis, the attendant angel of the God of Destruction Beerus.]
Luya's eyes twitched. "So… we're right around the time Frieza gets resurrected?"
[Correct. Frieza will be revived using Earth's Dragon Balls within the next three hours. Following that, his forces will spend four months training him for vengeance. The invasion of Earth is still approximately 120 Earth days away.]
Luya clenched his fists. "That means Frieza's subordinates like Sorbet and Tagoma are already mobilizing to gather the Dragon Balls. I won't make it in time to intercept them before the resurrection!"
He narrowed his eyes, tension rising. "System, is there any way I can quickly increase my power even further?"
To be honest, while a combat power of 100 million is immensely strong compared to the early Z era, it now only corresponds to a level seen at the entry point of the Super Saiyan transformations. This might have meant something during the Namek Saga when Goku reached Super Saiyan to defeat Frieza, whose final form peaked at around 120 million but this is no longer sufficient in the Dragon Ball Super timeline. In the current arc, Son Goku, even without transforming, has a base form bolstered by god-tier training. His base power after training with Whis and Beerus—is on a whole other level, capable of keeping up with beings whose energy dwarfs earlier villains. A combat power of 100 million now barely scratches the surface—let alone qualifies for a match against someone who has achieved Super Saiyan Blue, a form combining godly ki and Super Saiyan power.
And Frieza? After being resurrected by his loyalists using Earth's Dragon Balls, he undergoes four months of intense solo training—his first real training in life and attains his Golden Frieza form. This new form allows him to fight toe-to-toe with Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, and in fact, even surpasses them in raw power until stamina issues catch up with him.
The system responded calmly: "Affirmative. As long as the host completes missions designated by this system, substantial power-related rewards will be issued."
"Additionally, the host has already unlocked the Super Saiyan transformation. Would you like to activate it now?"
Upon hearing this, Luya immediately shook his head. "No way—I don't want to blow myself up in here!"
If he activated the Super Saiyan bloodline inside the Saiyan pod, the sheer surge of energy would likely destroy the entire vessel. Unlike Frieza, who famously survived in the vacuum of space even after Namek exploded, Luya, being a Saiyan, still requires an atmosphere for survival unless he gains god-level durability.

Three hours later, high above the Earth's stratosphere, a fiery object tore through the upper atmosphere, trailing an intense blaze as it descended rapidly.
Western Capital – Capsule Corporation vicinity.
BOOM!
A thunderous shockwave exploded across a secluded valley outside West City. The impact left behind a crater over 100 meters wide, billowing with smoke and scorched debris.
At the center of the crater, half-buried in soil and molten rock, the remains of a battered Saiyan space pod steamed with heat.
Click… click… click…
The hatch released pressure and slowly opened, revealing Luya's calm yet alert face.
He stepped out of the pod, brushing soot off his Saiyan armor, and surveyed the lush terrain around him.
"So this is Earth in the Dragon Ball world… It really does feel different from the Earth I knew."
In his past life, Luya had been just a regular student on modern Earth, someone with average academic performance and a secret habit of watching Japanese adult films under the covers. Ironically, while reading a fan story involving Android 18 and Cell that spiraled into an unexpected fusion of timelines, he had somehow been thrust into the actual Dragon Ball universe.
He still couldn't wrap his head around it. While many had dreamed of being transported to fantasy worlds after watching anime or reading manga, he might be the first to get reincarnated because of watching island-nation "action" films!
Just as Luya prepared to find shelter and lay low, two distinct, powerful energy signatures zoomed toward his location. He sensed them before he even saw them.
He looked up, puzzled. "Who's approaching with this kind of strength?"
Seconds later, two figures hovered above him—one a young adult male with glasses and a scholarly appearance, the other a tall green-skinned figure in white robes and a flowing cape.
Son Gohan and Piccolo!
The two figures touched down, alert and scanning Luya with wary expressions.
Piccolo's eyes narrowed upon seeing Luya's combat armor and tail. "A Saiyan?"
"Wha—what?! S-Saiyan?" Gohan echoed, eyes wide behind his glasses.
Luya raised one hand casually and greeted them. "Yo. Nice to meet you."
The two exchanged uncertain glances. Gohan leaned toward Piccolo and whispered, "Uncle Piccolo, did a Saiyan just crash-land on Earth?"
Piccolo's expression tightened. "I did sense someone summon Shenron recently. Something strange is going on…"
He turned to Luya with a stern gaze. "Who are you?"
Luya grinned, his tail swaying behind him. "Name's Luya. I'm a Saiyan. Hello, Gohan. Hello, Piccolo!"

"???" Piccolo
Both warriors were stunned. How did this stranger know their names?
"How do you know who we are?" Gohan asked, perplexed.
Luya responded with a knowing smirk. "I sought you out specifically. I knew this planet had Saiyans, so I made my way here."
Piccolo's eyes glinted as he scanned Luya with practiced insight. "Your energy is massive… far beyond a regular Saiyan. But Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta. The Saiyans are all gone—only Goku and Vegeta remain. So how are you here?"
Luya paused, then answered calmly, "Because I'm not from your universe."
Piccolo's eyes widened. "Not from our universe...? Are you saying you're a Saiyan from another universe?!"
Luya nodded. "Exactly."
A bead of cold sweat rolled down Gohan's temple. Piccolo's expression grew graver by the second.
Another universe...
If that's true, then the multiverse theory is more than real—it's already at their doorstep!
