Chapter 57 - Dawn

A dazzling light burst from Judo's palm. "Ugh!" Ding'er was immobilized, his body gradually shrinking. "Lord Ding'er!" Moyinti shouted, rushing to help but was blocked by General Bato. "I'll go," Kemier said, stepping forward, only to be stopped by Yifeng. "You're not going anywhere," Yifeng declared, brandishing his sword. The two pairs clashed below, buying Judo precious moments. "Get into the jar!" Ding'er was magically sealed into a small bottle. Judo capped it, completing the spell. "I can't believe it worked!" Judo celebrated with relief. "I'll make you pay!" Moyinti yelled at Judo. With the enemy's leader sealed, the remaining two commanders were no match for Judo and Yifeng. "Tch, the situation's against us. Let's retreat for now," Kemier said to Moyinti. "But… but Lord Ding'er…" "We can't turn the tide with just the two of us. Let's report to His Majesty Badi first," Kemier insisted. Reluctantly, Moyinti agreed to withdraw. The Haifei army didn't pursue, and the battle ended.

Judo returned to the group, holding the bottle. "Ding'er is sealed inside now. This was a counterattack tactic using our kingdom's secret arts, but it drained all my magic. I'm completely spent," Judo said, collapsing. "Thanks to you, we repelled the enemy! Here's a kiss!" Luoye hugged Judo and kissed his cheek. Judo smiled sheepishly. "Yeah, his trump card saved the Haifei Kingdom. By the way, little sister, when did you learn healing magic?" Yifeng asked. "I'm not sure. During the crisis, this pendant on my chest suddenly glowed. After the light hit me, I could suddenly use magic. Isn't that amazing?" Luoye said, staring at her pendant. "That's incredible. Is there something special about it?" "I don't know. I'll ask Mother when we get back—she gave it to me," Luoye replied.

"By the way, you must be Sir Judo. You've done a great deed. I hope you'll return with us to the capital. My father, the king, will surely reward you!" Yifeng said warmly. "Yeah, you were already escorting me back, so just see it through!" Luoye pleaded. "Fine, I can't argue with you two," Judo agreed reluctantly.

The group returned to the capital, where King Jiedefeng awaited in the palace. "Luoye!" the king exclaimed, rushing from his throne. "Father, I'm back!" The father and daughter embraced, tears streaming. "You weren't mistreated on the way, were you? Any injuries?" Jiedefeng asked, looking her over. "I escaped while the demon soldiers rested. When they nearly caught me, Sir Judo saved me and escorted me back," Luoye said, glancing at him. "Thank you, young man. Please accept my deepest gratitude!" "Your Majesty, you're too kind!" Judo replied, bowing. "Indeed, Father, defeating the demon army and saving my sister was all thanks to him," Yifeng added, praising Judo. Thus, Judo was invited to stay and recover in the palace under royal hospitality.

In the Demon Realm's Hall of Ten Thousand Demons, the commanders reported the battle via a magic mirror to Emperor Badi. "Useless fools. Fine, summon Mino," Badi said coldly. "Your Majesty, what is your command?" Mino knelt. "It's time to execute that plan," Badi ordered. "Yes, I'll handle it immediately," Mino replied, withdrawing.
