Kaelith sighed as he sat down on his bed. Since returning from Dane's office, he hadn't been himself, he just kept sighing. Before leaving, he had tried to catch a glimpse of Leonhardt's face, hoping to read something, anything that would explain why he had denied him so brutally. But there had been nothing.
"His face was so blank," Kaelith muttered to himself.
He sighed again before dropping his bag and settling into bed. He needed to sleep. His mind was too occupied. At this rate, he might just die from stress. Jaden was also out of the dorm, making Kaelith's alone time truly lonely.
Leonhardt, on the other hand, could be said to be even more disturbed than Kaelith. He was deeply annoyed and anxious. After Kaelith had left his brother's office, Leonhardt had maintained his neutral expression and finished his discussion with Dane. But as soon as he stepped out and settled into his car, his hand slammed down on his phone.
