The light priest was speechless, his jaw hanging down. The light emerging from Dean lessened. Dean gaped at his hand. He opened them and closed them, feeling each part of his fingers in the moment. He body was light and it must have been damn light for the next moment he was before the light priest already throwing a fist at him. The fist connected and sent him flying, breaking his nose and face in the process. And when Dean turned around to Larah, Larah flinched. Indeed, the light was weird enough, however, Dean's eyes, they had turned golden and black, just like the eyes of an angel.
Moreover Dean's hair turned white and longer, his body stronger.
'Dean, what are you?', Larah inquired.
'I, I don' – abruptly he turned back to normal and blacked out. Larah ran to his help, just in time to hold him. Still, Dean was heavy so that they both crashed to the floor. Just then Larah heard steps and soon the people creating the sounds. Special force alpha arrived, some normal soldiers accompanying them. Some had taken care of the dead light priest while the other slowly approached Larah who had managed to lean Dean's back against the wall.
'Why are you pointing the guns at us?', Larah demanded.
'Who is responsible for the light? Is it this person here or', he fixed his gaze especially at Dean, 'him?'
Larah rose to her legs. Yes, Dean's appearance had scared the shit out of her, but that was all.
'If you want him, then only over my dead body?'
'I can grant you this wish, lady!', a soldier replied, closing in. Suddenly they heard beating wings and just after that the roof over their heads exploded and flames shot down, though evading every person. Out this flame Seraphina stepped out. She found herself between Larah and the soldier. And so she asked:
'Well, can you also take him over my dead body?'
'If you' – he started gasping for air. Seraphina's presence was straining for them and she had had heated up the surrounding. Before Larah knew she was surrounded by a light. This must have been the reason for why she was still fine.
'I see you must be this people who got the powers of demons and angel!'. Seraphina noted. 'I don't see another reason why you would still be standing if this were not the case!' Even if the soldiers had not fainted, some were on the verge to and the others didn't look much better. Just then the strain on them eased when Commander Nootra arrived at the scene. (Seraphina: He must be on celestial level! Interesting!)
In a forest
After their win against the Legends the group had decided to remain in the forest for a day. They had found a deer and also water. It was night now and everyone was asleep. Well, this changed when Dae suddenly woke up. His loud gasping also woke up Rayshel and of course she had to let out a comment:
'Can't the husband sleep without his wifey?'
'You really are crazy, aren't you? I can't fathom a future where you are my wife! Really! Damn!'
'Then what is it? And you didn't have to be that cold!'
'You call that cold? Then you have a lot more to see. And, I don't know. Something happened to my brother. I don't know what!' He rose to his legs and Rayshel did likewise as she asked:
'What do you think when this all will stop? I mean I don't care. I get to fight strong people. Just asking?'
'Well, I have no clue. First of all we should head to the village one of the soldiers spotted today. If we are lucky we might find cars or maybe a plane there who knows!'
'And where will you go first?'
'To England, to where my brother is!'
'And you parents? Won't they need you?'
'Na, they are monster themselves. I have never won against them in a fight! But what about you? Don't you have someone?'
'I … well, I'll just join you. I am fine, hahahah!' Dae gazed her deep in the eyes and uttered, looking away and lowering his voice:
'Well, a wife shouldn't lie to the husband or not?' Rayshel's eyes spread wide open and a warm smile formed on her face.
'You are damn right!', she replied.
Somewhere
There were a women and a man sitting afore a giant gate.
'Seems like one of the boys has awaken!', the women uttered.
'Yeah!', the man replied. 'Well, starting now it will get ugly. So it's good that this happened. Soon hell will break out on earth!'
