"Just a hollow facade," the Third Raikage sneered as he observed the damaged stone giant.
"Is that so?" Kai responded calmly.
To everyone's astonishment, the destroyed half of the stone giant's body began to regenerate. Within just a few breaths, it was fully restored, standing intact before the Eight-Tails once again.
"Damn it! It can recover? What kind of technique is this?" The Third Raikage's expression darkened.
"As long as I remain undefeated, the stone giant will persist," Kai said coolly, his gaze fixed on the Third Raikage.
"Is that so? Then, Konoha brat, prepare to die!"
The Third Raikage's arm crackled with blue lightning as he charged directly at Kai.

As expected of the strongest shinobi of the Cloud Village, the Third Raikage's speed was beyond visual tracking. He launched his signature technique immediately, leaving no room for Kai to retaliate.

This time, Kai didn't evade. Instead, a pitch-black sphere materialized before him.
