Chapter 30 - The City of Gold

In the country of Lukia, there are four major cities. The City of Gold, which was Relvon, where the president and all government officials reside, along with it being the financial capital of Lukia. The City of Paradise, which was Jale, where the highest literacy and the lowest crime rates in the past ten years, along with being the tourist capital of Lukia. The City of Camo, which is Rein, where the highest military force is stationed, is the border/military capital of Lukia. The highest military agencies, such as the Furhounds and Bonevons.

Then there was Akuza, the most 'normal' city out of the four major cities. It has average literacy, average crime rates, which are slowly decreasing, and average military supply, as the only ones there are the DMMS and the Akuza Police Department. Therefore, the city was called the City of Nothing.

Since Relvon contained the main political higher-ups, Chiro rushed there to protect them. He teleported to Relvon using his Sorcery of the Constellations:- Cancer Space, which allowed him to manipulate space to his liking. He could teleport wherever he wanted to. The reason he did not use this ability in the Security Conference was due to it took up too much energy and soul energy, which were two components that he had to conserve.

Along with that, he felt that it would be rude to intrude from nowhere and use the common method to blend in and be respectful.

Relvon was a city with amazing architecture and buildings. Akuza was a normal city with skyscrapers and billboards along with normal houses with restaurants and hotels nearby at all times, but Relvon was different. Instead of being the home of skyscrapers and technology-infested people and buildings, Relvon was more old-fashioned. It was a city where families lived together as a joint family, so their houses were much larger. The families also came from a royal or upper-class background.

Multiple neighbourhoods are defined by color. The Red District is filled with rectangular and quite large houses, then a pointy cone at the top for a roof. The color of the house is red, and the roofs of the fancy shops and supermarkets are all colored red.

It was the same for the other four districts that make up Relvon, which adds up to five districts combined. The Red District, The Blue District, The Purple District, The Green District, and the last district, which was only for the highest of the upper class and the nobles of the royals, the Gold District.

All the districts merge to create one harmonious city, with the borders very visible. Anyone can pass the borders to another district, but one family from one district cannot live in another district for more than a week unless they are tourists.

Of course, Chiro and the people living in the Gold District were an exception. Chiro teleported right in the center of the border of the Red and Blue districts, the colors looked like a light purple due to them being so close, and immediately, some sorcerers wearing blue, outlandish, and outdated clothing walked up to him.

The clothing was the same clothing that some mage or wizard would wear in the past, probably two hundred years ago. It was a robe with a gold crest in the center, with the four district colors surrounding it. It also had a motto and a name.

'The Wizards of the Border' was the name.

'The people who separate the chaos within' was the motto.

Chiro scoffed at the name and motto before showing his DMMS ID to the wizard. The sorcerer did not seem fully convinced, therefore, he removed his sunglasses and showed his face more properly in a better light.

Of course, in such a formal and chaotic scene, Chiro thought it would be best to show up with a suit, a special one that Emily and Natsuki had created that would work as a battle suit as well. Once the sorcerer let him cross the districts and get a pass that allowed him to move more freely in Relvon, Chiro reached the Gold District easily with his quick speed coming in hand.

Chiro reached the location that he was meant to reach. The palace is where the highest government officials and their families live. The palace is covered in gold and has four sections that differentiate which part of the palace it is.

There was the President Sazain Hiura and his family in one section, and there was the Vice President Lilia Hajime and her family, the Treasury Master Kolamo Alkaza and his family, and the Military Commander Takahishimo Moyreal and his family.

Chiro reached the President's cabinet, where the Vice President and Treasury Master were already waiting, while the military commander was in Rein fighting off the terrorists.

"We were waiting for you," said the President in a calm, soft voice.

Meanwhile, the Treasury Master and the Vice President hit back with a scolding in a loud voice.

"Where were you, Chiro Zanami? The Calamity of this great nation cannot show up on time when the lives of royalty matter most?" scolded Lilia Hajime and Kolamo Alkaza in unison.

"Sorry," said Chiro, trying to fake his sincerity.

"It doesn't matter, I am not dead, am I? The only thing that does is the fact that he is here now," said Suzain Hiura, the president.

"Well then, shall we continue to see the matter?" asked Lilia

"Of course," said Chiro.

Chiro took a seat next to Lilia in the cabinet. The chairs were all so good-looking and padded with leather, trying to make comfort as high as possible.

"According to Takahishimo in Rein, there were four cities that were targeted. Rein, Jale, Relvon, and Akuza, in Rein, we can live those Ronin or whatever task force Ninjaro have to Takahishimo, in Jale your Dark Mixed Military Squad has been proven effective as they have located the Ronin and their base of operations, but in Akuza we are relying on a masked vigilante and an unknown man in a red suit to help us," said Lilia.

Chiro flinched unconsciously when he heard about an unknown man in a red suit. He thought it might be Xeno, but why would he ever help the Red Samurai? That was the main thought in Chiro's brain.

"This is, of course, unacceptable," said Kolamo.

He continued to speak.

"Isn't Akuza supposed to be the capital of the nation? And isn't it supposed to be your base of operations? Why is there no one stationed there? What are you doing? It must all be a betrayal, I knew it the day you left the military…"

"Shut up," said Chiro in a deep voice that was loud enough that it would echo in the room.

"Chiro, what foul language are you using in this chamber?" asked Suzain.

"I have a question, the honorable president," said Chiro.

"Ask," said Suzain while Kolamo's anger peaked.

"What work does the treasurer have here? Isn't he supposed to supply money to help the nation fight back against the terror attacks? What is he doing here, sitting and nicely relaxing while Takahishimo is out there fighting?" complained Chiro.

Suzain turned quiet.

"What are all of you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be out there fighting or at least commanding? At the very least, give a speech that inspires the young kids not to be scared. Inspire the adults that their lives aren't in danger. What are you doing? All of you," said Chiro.

"Are you questioning the government?" asked Lilia.

"Maybe I am," said Chiro.

Kalamo slammed the table and stood up, and made his way towards Chiro. He charged his fist with soul energy and was about to punch Chiro, but the Taurus Wall intervened and stopped Kalamo.

"Who do you think you are? Just because you are strong, do you think you know how to lead a country?" asked Kalamo.

"You aren't both. You aren't strong or fit to lead," Chiro fought back with his eyes rolling.

Suzain called multiple sorcerers and took Kalamo out of the cabinet room while Kalamo kept on screaming and yelling at Chiro. As the door closed, there was an empty silence that filled the room.

"I am sure that someone of your stature knows how to speak properly, right?" asked Suzain.

Suzain was an old man with wrinkles covering his face and body. He sat in the chair with a normal blue suit and black bow tie. Lilia was much younger, in her forties, and was wearing a formal dress with a gold name tag with her name on it.

"Of course, I am sorry," said Chiro.

"Don't be sorry, what you said was true," said Lilia.

"I agree and Kalamo does speak more than he is worth," laughed Suzain.

"Respectfully, I'd also laugh with you, but can we please talk about the crisis happening right now?" asked Chiro.

"Of course, let's begin," said Suzain.

Suddenly, there was an invasion of multiple ninjas storming the palace, and on the security screen that Lilia quickly opened as the emergency alarms were blaring, the faces of two Ronin were shown.

"Izak and Xhou of the Ronin," thought Chiro.
