[Louis]
Once I read the text my lawyer sent, I shot out of my room to meet him in the large sitting room where he was still working.
"That was fast," I said to him without bothering to hide my excitement, and he shrugged. He wasn't comfortable with all of these but that was his problem. I needed this, and I was doing it.
"How fast can you make the buyer close the deal?" I asked. I needed to be done, if possible before nightfall, and if Mr Patrick could do that for me I would be entirely grateful.
He typed for a few seconds before he looked up to me, and said, " He is close, and he will drop by within the hour." Mr Patrick said, and I threw a triumphant fist into the air.
"You're the best!" I said excitedly, and raced inside. Mr Patrick wasn't in the least excited, and he didn't hide it but I was far from giving a damn about his thoughts. What I needed was to put my excitement in check, and not appear desperate when the buyer arrived.
