After a moment, Clay averted his gaze and greeted Derek flatly.
As always, Derek was dressed in a crisp white shirt and black trousers. With his long legs and stunning looks, he was like a walking work of art. He walked into the living room, picked up a document, and settled on the sofa to read.
Bonnie had set up several computers and gaming chairs in her spacious living room. She waved Clay over. "Here."
Clay walked over, and she said, "I had everything installed according to the competition specs. Does it look okay to you?"
Clay pulled out a chair and sat down. After a quick glance, he nodded. "It's good."
"Then let's get started."
"Yeah."
Bonnie launched the game and invited Clay to join her team. Rolling up her sleeves, her slender, fair arms resting on the desk, she looked at him seriously. "I practiced all night. Tell me if I've improved!"
Clay couldn't help the slight curve of his lips; his sharp features softened just a little. "Alright."
