Chapter 217 Daimons's Defense Broken
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
The alarm of Skybase immediately sounded. Peter put on his Mask and led everyone out of the Lounge. Daniel was still injured and naturally couldn't go to the front line, but he could still do other things, such as logistics.
Peter swung his Web and rushed to the Prison Area with Nova ahead of the others. Karn was imprisoned there.
But before they could run a few steps, they were stopped by the Security door. Some SHIELD Agents were also stopped.
"What's wrong?" Peter walked to an Agent and asked.
"The Security door can't be opened for some reason," the Agent replied.
"How is that possible?" Peter widened his Eyes.
SHIELD's Facility isn't like his own water pipes, how could it break down at such a critical moment?
"Can you contact the Command Center?" Peter asked.
"We already tried to contact them just now, but for some reason, there's no Signal," the Agent replied.
"Maybe someone is jamming the Signal."
"Can Magic even do such a thing?" Sam said in disbelief.
"Magic may not be able to, but I definitely can."
A voice accompanied by Electric Current sounded. Peter was very familiar with this voice, and he subconsciously called out the Name of the voice's owner.
"Doctor Octopus?"
"It's me." Doctor Octopus nodded in acknowledgment. He was now in the Command Center of SHIELD, controlling the overall situation.
"Why are you here?" Peter asked, puzzled.
"Why? I don't know either." Doctor Octopus showed a moment of Puzzlement, but it quickly disappeared.
"I only know that I should make a bigger commotion."
"What?" Peter didn't understand Doctor Octopus's meaning yet, and the Security door was opened.
Everyone thought someone had regained Control of the Sky Carrier, but when the Gate opened, they realized they were wrong.
Waiting for them after the Gate opened was not an empty Corridor, but a group of super Villains.
Green Goblin, Sandman, Rhino, Frightful Four, etc., so many super Villains made Peter's scalp tingle.

"Long time no see, my Brother." Karn greeted Daimons, but Daimons hadn't recovered yet. Karn could have taken his Life at this time, but Karn didn't do so, instead quietly waiting for Daimons to recover.
After a while, Daimons pondered and came back to his senses. He stared blankly at Karn, muttering, "Why..."

"Obviously, Supreme Heavenly Lord doesn't like you," Karn said.
"Supreme Heaven?" Daimons looked puzzled.
"No way?" Karn said in disbelief.
"You don't even know That Lord's Name, do you? Supreme Heaven is precisely the Name of that Supreme Sovereign."
Daimons was silent, because he really didn't know. He couldn't help but wonder if it was really as Karn said, that Supreme Heavenly Lord was disgusted with his incompetence and wanted to abandon him, so he chose Karn instead.
Otherwise, why wouldn't he even tell him the Name?
