Isabella Weaver was utterly amazed and forgot to dodge Harry Hunter's fingers.
She stared blankly at Harry's excessively handsome face, not understanding why yesterday he complained about too little money, and today he didn't want any compensation.
Harry seemed to see through her heart and said, "You work every day, making money isn't easy; our account—let's write it off."
Isabella's heart shook fiercely.
This man was clearly a wealthy young master, living a life of luxury, yet he could empathize with her hard work!
But what about Milo Field?
Not only did he not care about her struggles, but after betraying her, he still came asking for the car.
Isabella clutched the envelope tightly, then whispered after a while, "When I earn more, I will repay you double."
She needed to live, to pay the car loan, and indeed needed this money.
Harry wanted to say there was no need but, seeing her stubbornly strong appearance, he said nothing.
The men and women accompanying Harry for drinks saw him take out a thick envelope for the girl and started cheering, assuming Harry had given her a tip, and followed suit by taking out money to reward: "Hey, this girl looks quite clean, come over, come over!"
Cora Ginger, who had been deathly jealous seeing Isabella receive money, hurried over when the handsome guys called her, collecting a pile of red envelopes as she made rounds!
When she and Isabella came out of the private room, they still felt like they were dreaming!
"I got red envelopes! I got tips too!"
Typically, service staff like them who deliver drinks are at the bottom tier and don't receive tips, only those like Irene who entertain and chat receive them.
Cora was so excited she was almost crying: "Isabella, thanks to you, look at all this money! One, two, three, four..."
Isabella watched her counting money happily and laughed lightly.
Her mood felt somewhat relieved, and life seemed full of hope again. There were still good people in this world; even someone seemingly cold like Harry had warmth.
The night passed, and as it was time to finish work, Isabella rubbed her sore arms and walked out with Cora.
Cora, feeling she benefited by following Isabella, having received over four thousand in tips, insisted on treating Isabella to a meal.
As the two walked out of the club's doors, they ran into Milo Field.
The faint smile on Isabella's face disappeared completely.
"Isabella, I came to pick you up after work, but the security wouldn't let me in. I've been waiting outside for quite a while."
Milo's gentle face carried a hint of anxiety; he truly needed that Range Rover to show off. All the hosts at the TV station drove nice cars, and his Nissan was too old and embarrassing.
He had intended to go straight to the garage to drive Isabella's car away, but unfortunately, today the security refused to let him in no matter what.
Seeing Isabella's expression, Cora knew her mood was terrible and instantly guessed Milo's identity: "Are you Isabella's boyfriend? Gilly Scott caused a scene here yesterday, and our management of outsiders has become stricter!"
Gilly Scott?
Milo's gaze turned a bit dark; how could she cause trouble at critical times? Deliberately exposing their secret relationship in front of Isabella, he hadn't even settled the score with her yet!
Isabella corrected Cora: "Cora, he isn't anymore, we broke up."
"Oh, right, he got together with that Gilly Scott, didn't he? Hmph, scumbag! Hurry and stay away from our Isabella, looking decent but actually no good at all!"
