The group finally took a deep breath of fresh air as they arrived at their long-awaited destination. Stepping out of the cars, they were met with the breathtaking beauty of the Moors.
The girls took a moment to absorb the rare scenery, while the boys immediately got to work setting up the camp.
At this point, everyone had different thoughts running through their minds.
Chingla thought, The air here is so cute.
Tsunami was focused on the rare event they had come to witness. (I guess all of us forgot that the rare event was the whole point of this picnic?)
Jangla started chomping down on the food that was supposed to last for the picnic. Breaking the fourth wall, what!? This is a separate snack just for me, she said, with her mouth full of chips.
Flower started making reels, Tut tut tut... Ding ding ding ding... Ching Ching Ching Ching... Or whatever reels sound like.
Roslin found the landscape incredibly romantic—until she glanced at the boys she came with, looking like cute donkeys clumsily setting up the camp, and all her romantic thoughts disappeared instantly.
Ori admired how cool Bori looked while setting up the camp.
ON NO and Sung also had thoughts, but honestly, even I have no clue what they were thinking.
Liabilities and Bori were focused on setting up the camp efficiently.
Oppa, ever the supportive one, was acting as the tripod for Flower, holding her phone while she made the reel.
Pre Guy was quietly looking at his wallet, lost in his own mysterious thoughts.
July Boy, true to his nature, had already fallen asleep the moment they arrived.
And as for Sam…
Oh. He is lost again.
Chingla was the first one to point out his absence. "Wait, where's Sam?"
Tsunami sighed, "Probably off somewhere, influenced by his intrusive thoughts again."
Roslin, ever the optimist, tried to reassure them. "It's fine. This place is pretty isolated."
Chingla, with her usual careing nature, shook her head. "Then no one will know if something happens to him."
Jangla, with an eerie calm, added, "Don't worry. He's probably looking for a slope to fulfill his intrusive thoughts of standing on top of it, and peeing down the slope, or shouting out his lungs just to hear his echo."
And sure enough, at a distance, Sam was running around, searching for the perfect slope. He found one, and without missing a beat, he pulled down his zip to stand at the top of the slope and… pee.
Suddenly, a scream echoed across the Moors.
Jangla, smug as ever, turned to the group. "See? Exactly what I told you."
But the scream wasn't just one voice—it sounded like a mix of both boys and girls, all at once.
The scream intensified, a strange, overlapping chorus of voices—both male and female. It was unlike anything they had expected.
Flower, with an exaggerated look of surprise, said, "The echoes here sure are weird. It's like they give both genders' voices!"
Tsunami squinted, hearing the strange, overlapping sounds. "That's not normal... someone should check on him."
The group quickly rushed towards the echo, towards Sam. There he was, standing frozen at the top of the slope, wide-eyed and shocked.
It turned out, Sam had not been alone in the Moors after all—and something else had joined him at the top of the slope.
"Sam! What happened?" shouted Tsunami.
Sam just pointed down the slop, still too stunned to speak.
What could have made that scream?
