A heavy yawn escaped from Paola's mouth as she slowly opened her eyes. She sat up on the bed and used the back of her hand to rub her eyes.
After she stopped doing that, she paused, and her eyes widened.
"I fell asleep?!". She could not believe her eyes.
Without any warning, she removed the blanket from her body and jumped down the bed. Then she remembered that she was not the one who had covered herself with the blanket.
That was when she stared at the bed and couldn't find Foxy there. She looked around the bedroom but still could not find him anywhere.
"Where could he be?". She wondered and went to check the bathroom.
After she did that, she muttered, "What was I even thinking? That he would be here?".
She let go of the bathroom's door knob, before she went out of the bedroom and descended downstairs after she could not find Foxy upstairs.
She even searched for him in grandpa Dario's bedroom, but she couldn't find him there. That was why she went downstairs.
