Len remembered the same things Claude had before the accident. He was on his phone, chatting with his dad about a few matters. Their topic was about the bounty hunters, who relied on brutal ways to catch the creatures of the night. Most of these hunters cared too little about bystanders. They could strike anywhere, as the presence of innocents didn't bother them.
How ironic was it that they were attacked just as soon as he told his dad not to worry about them? Len only knew that he would find who orchestrated this… trap. Yet, it was not aiming for wolves.
If they were, the hunters would have used silver in their weapons. The harpoon should have been coated with it to kill any wolf driving. Moreover, they should know that the wolves had reinforced bodies. An accident like this could not kill a wolf.
That was all Len had as a guarantee. This was a trap for any night creature to spring.
