The old world of this planet was plain—only red sand and rock existed here.
The old world is circular, 500,000 miles wide from end to end. From above, it appears as a perfect circle, surrounded by a black wall that molds it into shape. All old and given worlds share this same structure.
When I was outside the wall, nothing seemed unusual. But the moment I entered, something caught my attention.
At the very center of the old world, an abnormality resides. I could feel another barrier—like a tower, circular in shape, piercing through the multi-layer Dimension Barrier that protects the old world. It extended far above, reaching into the sky and breaching the atmosphere. This towering barrier was ??? tall.
The distance between the Old World's surface and the Dimension Barrier above was more than 500,020 miles. The distance within the Dimension Barrier was ??? level—endlessly larger than current existence itself. And finally, the gap between this planet's surface and the atmosphere's ceiling was ???.
These distances alone showed how tall the structure was.
This construct is known as the Tower Barrier.
I analyzed it, unraveling layers of its makeup, but something felt wrong. Instinct warned me that a hidden part remained. Discovering it would drive me mad, just like the concealed layers of the Multi-Layer Dimensional Barrier.
I tried to peer deeper but failed. I could see through it if I used those powers… but I'd vowed never to use them outside of combat or new craft development.
I'll explore the Tower Barrier when the time is right. For now, I'll focus on building my base.
The construction shouldn't take long.
But before that, I'll redesign this base blueprint—it's too eye-catching. After a few minutes, I redesigned the blueprint and then started constructing.
I first built a huge cube-like structure with an endless space within.
The cube-like structure didn't have any doors. The only way to enter was to be recognized by the structure itself.
With a command from me, the cube morphed, forming a door for me to enter. As soon as I entered, the door closed behind me and vanished.
Outside the cube, the size of this structure was around 50 meters tall, long, and wide. But the size of the space within this structure was ???.
The space inside this cube was pure white. Whichever direction you looked, you could only see endless white space.
This place was known as my pocket workshop, a place where I build and create my inventions—tech and other stuff. This isn't my main workshop but the affordable one I could build anywhere. Whatever materials I have—eggs, wood, trash, rocks, energy, or even nothing—I can still build it easily.
The reason is simple. I've already mastered a technique that manipulates particles and even smaller things than particles. By manipulating them, I can change any material into anything I want. This technique borders on reality manipulation through science.
With my thoughts, the space moved as I willed it. The white endless floor morphed, forming countless pieces of equipment and machinery designed for producing and researching technology.
This equipment had the same color as the floor, and they were the most advanced tech in all of existence.
With practiced movements, I began my work. I grabbed a multi-tool shaped like a gun and started shaping my upcoming creations.
A week later.
The cube began to morph, and a door formed. Through it came out a small man, only five feet tall. He wore black clothes, had black hair and blue eyes, and held a red cube in his right hand.
This small man was none other than John.
I walked out from my carriable workshop and took it over to my Gate of Black. Gate of Black is a special magic that creates a storage space within my soul, linked to me.
This storage space has ??? number of layers, each with a size of ???. It contains everything that exists and doesn't exist. Some things are not even allowed to exist, but thanks to my strength, they are allowed to.
A huge black gate with intricate patterns suddenly appeared behind the cube-like structure and swallowed it like a hungry beast.
The black gate opened, revealing whirlpools that swallowed everything I willed to be swallowed—and destroyed anything that tried to trespass into my storage space.
The gate consumed the cube-like structure and vanished into black mist. That gate was the door to my storage space that only I, could enter.
Well, that's already tested—not a theory.
As soon as the gate vanished, a familiar girl suddenly appeared behind me—it was the world herself.
"Beings at ??? level are not allowed in the Old World."
I responded without turning to her, "What do I need to do then?"
She replied in her monotone voice, "Seal all of your power until you become as strong as a regular human."
"Ok," I did what she said without complaint and sealed all of my power until I became just a regular human—without any power. This girl is much stronger than me. If I wanted to rival her strength, I'd need to use my trump card. At that point, I could only rival her, not defeat her.
Now, the strongest entity who could destroy everything before the Great Change… can't even defeat a world's avatar. It's a funny twist of fate. Those True Creators must be having a hard time now. They could create and destroy everything before the Great Change—but now, they can't even destroy a small mountain. After all, the strength and scale of all things have changed greatly.
"I have questions," I asked politely.
The girl gazed at me with her emotionless eyes. "Ask."
"If I happen to grow powerful in this state and reach ??? level again without using my sealed power, can I walk around here without sealing my gained strength?"
The girl blinked, head tilted cutely. "Obviously."
"How about using my ??? level weapons?" I asked.
"As long as you created it from the Old World's resources, it is allowed," the girl said.
"Can I unseal my power once I enter a dungeon in the Old World?" I needed to ask. To unlock my original strength and memory, I need to conquer a dungeon, so I need all of my current strength to do it.
"You can—as long as you enter dungeons or the Endless Biomesphere," the girl said while showing a picture.
I only have some outdated info about the dungeon, and no information about the Endless Biomesphere. I'll get that detailed information in the future.
I asked the girl a few more questions and then left after she answered them all.
I got some bad and good news from her. Good news first: there's always a dungeon somewhere, which means I could easily find one. The bad news is… she warned me not to venture into the dungeon on this planet and this universe including this certain Multiverse. I'd be dead if I did.
The first floors alone are enough to kill me, according to her.
She also warned me not to enter the Endless Biomesphere unless I have a death wish. I'd be lost there—and killed by powerful monsters. That place is beyond ??? Literally.
A measurement only comprehended and known by Chaos Sovereignty. Which surprised me, there no such thing beyond ???, beyond ??? Is always be greater ??? But she is saying that there is something beyond all ??? Surpassing it entirely, absurd but not rejected by me.
I sighed and shook my head. 'I'll think about that after setting this thing up.' I thought, looking at the red cube in my hand.
This red cube is my base—created following the blueprint that I changed.
