Chapter 97 - CHAPTER NINETY-SIX

Felix was with Bernard, going to the warehouse as a gardener. He understood that their intention was to gain his favor and manipulate him. Calmly chatting, he pretended to be innocent and let the two of them, Mikaela and his sister Jenny, be caught.

Thalia will really scold me, but I know she knows it's part of our plan. Felix just thought it in his mind.

Bernard just tapped him, seemingly pleased with what he had done. He still needs to be careful. With him was Alexander, who had been staring at him for a long time. He knew that he was being scrutinized, that he was being examined in his entirety, and that he was not Rolando Gracias.

They were about to arrive, the surroundings were quiet, and there were guards at the warehouse.

"Sir, should I get off?" he asked.

"Yes, of course, I need to talk to my child because the two trespassers were caught immediately." He even said with a smile.

He just weakly nodded at that. Bernard immediately went down.

"I'll leave you with Alexander for now." He said to him.

He nodded in agreement. Alexander looked at Bernard, and he was about to get out of the vehicle when he felt a cold weapon pointed at him.

He didn't say anything then, so he also prepared his weapon hidden in his simple attire.

"I know you're not Rolando Gracias, and I know that you're hiding something fishy, so come with me. You are Felix Blanco, son of the slain journalists who fought against the Fuego." He heard that.

"Ah, I guess I don't need to pretend anymore about who I am. Yes, I am indeed Felix Blanco." He used to say.

"What is your agenda? Answer me, or your two sisters will die. No one can save your sister anymore; your small organization has come to an end, and your cousin has also perished." Alexander said it to him.

Felix couldn't help but let a playful smile break on his lips, and he chuckled softly.

"How are you sure about that?" He couldn't help but ask calmly of his opponent.

Alexander didn't say anything. "Let's not play anymore; your game is over. We know you are one of the people who helped Jake act in secret. We have already discovered your hideouts because of this stupid map." He even said to him.

"One step, and you will be dead." Alexander threatened him.

Felix immediately kicked his knee, causing him to kneel and lose his balance. Before Alexander could recover, he immediately pointed the gun at him.

He smiled. "I know you're a smart person, and you love playing games. Do you know why I'm here?" he asked his opponent.

He stared at him. "I guess you know already."

He kicked him in the face and quickly entered the warehouse. Before he could even enter, his men were already alarmed. He saw that Alexander immediately got up and shot at him; fortunately, he was able to hide right away.

"Surround that man!" He heard Alexander order the men who were nearby. He quickly shot the men surrounding him and slowly entered the warehouse.

There was chaos inside the warehouse, and he immediately traced where they had hidden his two siblings. Fortunately, the personnel who sided with their forces, including Vince, who was fighting outside, were on standby.

He knew that Alexander went straight to Bernard to warn him. He immediately saw what he was looking for. There was his sister, tied up, and it seemed she had woken up from a nightmare.

"Felix?" Mikaela asked as she saw him and seemed confused by what was happening. There were indeed the five men; her cousin's game had really succeeded once again.

Before he advanced to the warehouse, they had a plan that could endanger them; he followed what their premonition showed with caution and took all the risks.

"Hey," he called out to them.

"Ah, you're taking so long; I thought I was going to die for good." Vince just scratched his head at that moment and got up as if nothing happened.

Even these people started moving, and Charles sighed at Vince's careless tactics.

"Don't blame me for anything, Charles. Vince was the one who planned that."

Charles just stared at him. "Don't worry, it's fun to pretend to be dead." He even smiled.

Mikaela was the only one who didn't know what happened, and her surprise was clear.

"Jenny, where's the other map?" Felix asked his sister.

"Brother, can you please help me to untie these ropes?" He heard Jenny's complaint that Vince was untangling the knot.

"Hurry." He ordered the others.

"Gerald, go with Thalia." He ordered Gerald back then.

He nodded, indicating that they would go to the secret basement known only to them. Some of the women have already escaped with the person they trust and have provided the evidence.

Maybe they're already there. Once again, they appear to be taking their time. Felix just sighed.

Fernan was looking at Thalia, as if he wanted to join her and help them. He just sighed.

"Take care of them, Fernan." He said to the soul.

"Ellese, Felisa, you may go now; you can cross presently." That's all he heard from Ericka.

Ellese shook her head. Not everything is over yet; we haven't retrieved a single soul. Ellese, only say it.

He didn't say anything more. He felt footsteps approaching them.

"Go on," he said.

They nodded. Felix knew that Mikaela could see Fernan; they just needed to follow him, and they would escape from the warehouse.

The enemy now surrounds them; he can only sigh. He had no choice but to fight; he didn't want the warehouse, filled with greed, to become their grave.

The enemy already knows their destination. He also knew that it was ready to either escape or fight them.

He can hear and smell the blood now. Thalia and the others need to reach the meeting place. They know that they won't be left alone by their group, Isabel, but they will get through it.

The map in Jenny's hand is the key to his sister's safety. They will follow when their mission is over and they have made it out alive.

They are not talking now; their only goal is to bring down the Fuego.
