Landon and Tatiana had been locked up brainstorming new ideas and helping each other.as weeks passed by, One of Landon's most recent discovies while he was discussing future colleberations for his next album was that some artist didn't either exist or weren't as big in this world. The conclusion he came to was that he was not just sent back in time but was rather sent to another timeline. In this word acts like One direction, fifth Harmony, CNCO and little mix didn't exist due to the reason that Simon Cowell, the man who saw talent and united them didn't exist in this world.
. "So, if they don't exist that means I can use their songs as well, right?. I mean they do have one hell of a catalog." He thought to himself as he made his way home. Once he reached his room he started thinking of all the albums he could make with their songs, but just as he was picturing it he reminded Rachel and what Diddy had said to her. "Wait. Just because Simon doesn't exist , does that mean they don't too?" He thought to himself as he took out his phone and started searching each if them on Instagram and Twitter in oder to prove his theory.
After almost an hour of reaching he found out that they indeed did exist, However they weren'tas big of artists than from his original word. With this discovery at hand Landon had two choices at best. The first was that he takes their popular songs that Simon had written and turn them into his own. The second was that he takes time off of his music and tries to head hunt all members of each band and try to unite them under the umbrella of Echowaves
He closed his eyes and got lost deep in thought. About 20minutes later he finally opened up his eyes, and he felt a surge of determination. He picked up his phone and dialed Rachel's number. She answered on the first ring.
"Hey, Landon. What's up?" Rachel asked, her voice chipper.
"Hey, Rach. I have a question for you," Landon said, his voice serious. "What is your vision for EchoWave? Why dud you make it ?"
Rachel hesitated for a moment. "Well, because i love hearing music. I love all types of music and i want to help connect the right audience to the right audience. "she said finally.
Landon's voice was filled with excitement. "I'm glad you said that, because I have a plan. But it's going to require me to take some time off."
Rachel's curiosity was piqued. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, I'm going to go scout out the talent needed to make EchoWave Records the biggest label in the world," Landon said, his voice filled with conviction for the rist time since they both met. "I'll find the best artists, producers, and songwriters, and I'll bring them to you. We'll build a team that will take the music industry by storm."
Rachel was shocked. She had expected Landon to come up with a plan to promote his own music, not to take a step back and focus on building the label. In her eyes Landon was the perfect artist. He couod effortlessly connect with the fans, wrote and produces his own music and as a icing on the cake, he coukd also direct. If anything, they've saved a whole lot of money with him. But that's when it hit her...that with his talent and charisma, he could find and nurture the best talent in the industry, and EchoWave Records would become unstoppable.
Rachel took a deep sigh before she spoke, her voice filled with emotion. "Look, Landon. I've worked with you for half a year now, and in that half a year, I saw the type of person you are." A warm smile spread across her face as she continued. "You're a genius who always goes the extra mile for what he wants. But even though you're that way, you still remain humble and try to help me every day possible. I'm sorry, but I can't keep taking more from you while I give nothing back."
Her voice cracked with sincerity. "I want you to focus on your career, and I'll scout the talents. Please don't let your talent go to waste. You've already done what you can for me, and I'm happy." Rachel's eyes shone with gratitude, and her voice was laced with admiration. "You're an incredible artist, Landon, and you deserve to shine. Don't sacrifice your dreams for me or EchoWave Records. You go out there and make the music that needs to be made."
Landon's voice was gentle but resolute over the phone. "What are you talking about, Rachel? I'm not doing this because I feel sorry for you. I'm doing this because I want to. And you're forgetting that EchoWave is my home... so as long as I'm signed to this record label, I'll try by all means to see it shine. And maybe, just maybe, then would I see you with a true smile on your face."
Rachel's voice on the other end of the line was filled with a mix of emotions, and she couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest at Landon's words. She paused for a moment, collecting her thoughts before responding. "Landon, you don't have to do this. You've already given me so much. I don't want you to sacrifice your own happiness for the label."
Landon's response was immediate. "I'm not sacrificing anything, Rachel. This is what I want. I want to help you succeed, and I want to see you happy. Let's just say... I have a vision, and I'm willing to work hard to make it a reality."
Rachel could almost hear the determination in his voice, and she felt a surge of admiration for her talented artist."Okay, you win." She said softly. "So, who are these artists you have in mind?" She asked.
Rachel's voice was barely above a whisper as she conceded, "Okay, you win. So, who are these artists you have in mind?"
Landon's enthusiasm was palpable over the phone. " Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui. Each one brings their own unique style and sound to the table, but i think we can also combine their talents and form a girl group with them. Together I think they would make a great addition to EchoWave."
Rachel's mind was racing with the possibilities. She has heard whispers of their names there and there but never heard anythingof them working together as a group, but if Landon believed in them, she was willing to take a chance. "Okay, Landon. You've got my attention. Tell me more about them."
"Well, for starters they're all in the US currently. And I think we just do the same approach we did with Tatiana, just send them emails and all that." Landon said calmy.
"Rachel's eyes widened slightly at Landon's confidence. "If they're not interested?" she asked, her voice laced with a hint of skepticism.
Landon's response was calm and collected, but with a hint of arrogance. "Then they're missing out on the chance to have me as their mentor. I'm generous enough to help in the production of their album, but if they're not interested, I could always find 5 normal school girls and turn them into a big hit overnight."
Rachel couldn't help but chuckle at Landon's confidence. "You're quite sure of yourself, aren't you?" she said, a smile spreading across her face.
Landon's voice was unwavering. "I'm not being cocky, Rachel. I'm being realistic. I know what I can do, and I If they doesn't want to take advantage of the opportunity, it simply means they're not hungry enough for success and we'lljust have to find someonewho is. "
