I thought that he hung up, that liar.. My phone is almost dead! Kuro stretched and yawned, trying to get rid of his morning grouchiness... He scrolled down a bit and saw a message from Ryui saying, "Goodnight." Kuro didn't mind it that much and left him on read. He went to start his day, he brushed his teeth, took a shower, and ate breakfast.
Even though he did all those things, he still felt tired. While making breakfast, his head was somewhere else making his food burn. And when he went back to his bed he was gonna take a nap.. But then was awoken by another call.
This time it was from Mizuki, he answered quickly thinking that it might be urgent. "Hel-" His voice was raspy but he cleared his throat to be clear again, "Hello?"
"Hi! Uh, since you were unable to go to the BBQ yesterday we decided to move it today if you're free!" Mizuki said, trying to convince Kuro to go. "But It's a Sunday.." He said softly.
Mizuki paused not expecting him to say that, leaving the room silent for a little, "That's alright, I can reschedule again if you want," Her voice went quieter making her sound displeased, "Mkay.. I'll see you at school tomorrow then."
He then abruptly hung up the call. "..I might've ruined our friendship a little.." Kuro cleared his throat again, "It's alright because I will try and resolve it!" He said with a positive tone. It was then broken by a loud sigh.
He fell back down onto his bed, All I wanna do is sleep all day.. He mustered up the strength and sat up again, But I must be productive!
Suddenly Kuro heard a knock on his door. He got up walking to the door and looked through the peek-hole. It was Ryui… Kuro didn't answer the door, making him keep knocking. He ignored him, even if his knocks got more persistent and aggressive.
A thought came to mind, 'How does he know I live here? Is he a stalker?!' Kuro was so confused, Maybe is what Mizuki said yesterday, the principal could've just given him my address. But that's so- He was cut off.
"Hey! I know you're in there, Mizuki sent me!" Kuro's head turned to the door, Mizuki sent Ryui..? Why? He sighed, I guess that it's best we communicate instead of hiding all the building up darkness between us.
Kuro slowly opened the door, peeking outside before opening it fully. "What do you want..?" Ryui barged in, ignoring Kuro's protests. "Are you bipolar or something? Why are you acting like this so suddenly?"
Ryui's eyes was looking at his place, taking it in. He sighed and turned to look at him fully.
"Kuro, do you realize that you're so adorable?" Ryui said with a straight face, but Kuro saw him blushing a little. Kuro was bewildered, "What'd you just say?" He asked, thinking that he heard wrong.
"I said, 'Do you realize that you're so adorable?'" Ryui said once again with a straight face as if it's something he says everyday.
