Chapter 734 - Thranduil

Princess Talanji, having received the oracle, emerged from the ceremonial site. She cast a deep gaze upon the monstrous entity that had devastated the Sethrak village. Then, she began to perform the Zandalari sacrificial dance, blue divine power swirling around her body. This energy eventually coalesced into the translucent shadow of a mighty Devil's Tyrannosaurus Rex—a power clone of Rezan.

Rezan's appearance instantly drew the attention of Mythrax the Unraveler! Mythrax roared skyward again: "Won seittit em evig! (I will turn you to ashes!)" A burst of fighting spirit ignited in Rezan's ethereal eyes. He pawed at the sand, then lowered his head and charged toward the Unraveler!

Rumble, rumble! With deafening roars, the two colossal monsters stomped the ground and launched their charge!

Bang! Rezan slammed into the Unraveler's chest with a headbutt, formally initiating their battle. The thunderous sounds of their clash could be heard dozens of kilometers away, even where Galen stood.

"Speaking of which, you trolls were incredibly brave back then," Galen remarked to Bwonsamdi. "You built your capital directly on top of a huge bomb."

"You're right. King Dasa didn't expect this either," Bwonsamdi grumbled, speechless.

As Galen said this, his mind drifted to Lordaeron. Terenas's ancestors had also established a kingdom in Tirisfal Glades. Honestly, if the Faceless General in Tyr's Tomb had been resurrected early, there would have been no need for the "filial son" to appear. The entire kingdom would have been destroyed, and Dalaran and Gilneas would have suffered immensely. Stromgarde would likely have had to move its capital south. However, though the servants of the Old Gods had indeed been resurrected, Dalaran still had the Guardians of Tirisfal—Alodi, Aegwynn,Med'an and Medivh—as their trump cards.

The Zandalari, though, were even more unlucky. They were directly above G'huun. Even if he was a man-made Old God, he was still an Old God. No number of Loa would be enough to fill that void.

At that moment, a massive fire phoenix soared in from the west, carrying a heroic High Elf on its back. It was Thranduil, landing beside Galen and Bwonsamdi.

"Oh, long-eared High Elf, look at this fire phoenix, are you from the lineage of the Sunstriders?" Bwonsamdi asked.

"Bwonsamdi? Troll God of Death?" Thranduil replied, thus completing their first exchange.

"Galen, I teamed up with the Tortollans and the Sethrak to rescue a group of captives from the Faithless Sethrak," Thranduil recounted briefly. "But right after we allied with their elder Warwick to attack Korthek's lair, he made a desperate move, attacking Atul-Aman and releasing that big guy. Not only that, Korthek seeks to corrupt their deity Sethraliss, attempting to transform her into a dark Loa." Thranduil's narrative informed Galen how the Unraveler had broken free.

Roar! While Galen was still pondering the situation, Rezan's phantom was hammered to the ground. It roared, then rose and charged again. If it had been Rezan's real body fighting the Unraveler, perhaps he would have won long ago. After all, he was the Supreme Loa who protected kings and held the title of God of Battle. Now, without the Holy Light attribute, this energy phantom would have exploded long ago.

"Look, Thranduil, you've always wanted to find a worthy opponent, right?" Galen quipped. "When Rezan is defeated, you can go up and take on the lobster man." After saying this, Galen turned to the Troll Death God and asked, "Old man Bwonsamdi, are you interested in going to the Temple of Sethraliss with me?"

"Of course." Bwonsamdi still wore his cynical expression. "I haven't seen Sethraliss for a long time either. Our reunion will be legendary!"

The three were about to split up. "Thranduil, wait," Galen called out to the High Elf who had already leaped onto the phoenix's back, throwing him a dagger. "When you defeat that big guy, help me do an experiment."

Thranduil caught the dagger and hung it on his waist. "What do you need me to do?"

"Just give him the final blow with this dagger."

"Understood!" As soon as he finished speaking, the fire phoenix shot off with Thranduil on its back. The phoenix was incredibly fast, leaving only a streak of red light in the sky. Soon, it arrived above the battlefield where the Unraveler and Rezan clashed.

At this moment, Mythrax had just dispersed Rezan's phantom. He then raised his head, a cluster of tentacles writhing, and stared at the phoenix and Thranduil atop it. The Unraveler raised one of his lobster claws and aimed an annihilation blast at Thranduil. The black beam of light exuded a destructive aura, swallowing the few rays of light in its path.

The phoenix's flaming eyes emitted a ray of fire, and it flapped its wings, flying swiftly toward Mythrax. The flames on its tail drew a beautiful arc in the sky. In the blink of an eye, the phoenix soared to the Unraveler's side. A volley of small flames erupted from beneath its wings, which were over ten meters long. The tiny firebirds slammed into the Unraveler's chest, causing a series of explosions!

Not only that, Thranduil on the phoenix's back was chanting a spell. He then waved the Quel'dorei golden staff in his hand toward the ground! The desert within a radius of several dozen meters, centered on the Unraveler, began to churn, and then a burst of red flames gushed out!

Roar~

The intense pain from the scorching flames caused Mythrax to let out a terrifying roar that echoed throughout the entire Vol'dun area.
