Chapter 42 - 042:- A Mouthful of Pleasure

Luka's back was straight as they walked through the prying eyes of the guests, an unwanted shiver going down his spine as he walked past the Queen's field of vision.

Cielo was very well behaved, despite being hopelessly drunk, the Vampire lay quietly in his arms. Luka almost couldn't tell if he had fallen asleep or not.

He had interrupted Alessio's offer to feed Cielo out of habit. It was truly an honor to be accepted to feed a Bianci.

Luna glanced over her shoulder at the two of them as Elio guided her forward with his arm around her waist. She only looked at Lord Luka favorably because of her younger brother's puppy crush on him, if he made the mistake of harming Cielo, she would cut him down completely without remorse.

The trip to Cielo's room was a brisk and silent one, she led the way in. Her younger brother's room was done in pastels and frills, she liked to visit often because of how soothing the atmosphere was.

"Please lay him on the bed," She said frostily, her gloved hand placed against her corset. "You don't have to force yourself to feed him, there's no lack of offers." Her tone was almost confrontational.

Luna Bianci couldn't quite see what her brother saw in the Vampire who was completely obsessed with another, and maybe her feathers had been a bit ruffled by Luka stopping Prince Alessio from feeding Cielo, so she wanted to show him that her brother wasn't begging for favors.

Luka's sharp teeth clenched, his expression remaining unchanging. If Queen Nadia was a nuisance, Luna Bianci was even more so. They had remained in their position of importance, possibly for as long as Vampires have existed, he had to tread extremely carefully.

"Far from it," He spoke solemnly, leaning down to gently place Cielo on his frilly sheets. "Offering my blood is an honor…" His carefully articulated words trailed off when Cielo clung to him tightly, refusing to let go.

Luka looked to a glowering Luna Bianci, at a loss for what to do. He was truly trying to make amends, Cielo had unfortunately gotten caught up in his plans.

Luna approached, her demeanor softening at the sight of her brother's smitten expression. "You might have to get on the bed with him. Once he's fed, he'll regain his senses."

Luna winced at the thought of her brother's mortification when he found out who he had clung to, upset all over again at the mishap. She would make sure she got to the bottom of the matter and exact justice for her brother's sake.

Luka cocked a brow but he didn't protest, getting on the soft bed with the Vampire wrapped around him like a scarf. Was it a trait of all Biancis to get clingy when they were drunk?

He sat against the headboard with Cielo laying across his legs, his arms around his neck. Luka was a little stifled, but he tolerated it, ignoring the audience as he tugged his sleeve down. The sooner he was done here, the quicker he could get back to Alessio.

It was difficult maneuvering Cielo while the Vampire laid on him, but he managed to hold his bare wrist up to Cielo's lips. Luka waited with fraying patience for the Vampire to take the bait.

Cielo looked up at him, his red eyes just as pale as the rest of him, the lower part of his face was hidden by Luka's wrist. His pale hair was wild around him like fog, falling free of his half-up hairdo.

The drunk Vampire didn't bite down, instead, his little red tongue darted past his lips to swipe across Luka's wrist, those limpid pale red eyes constantly staring up at him.

Luka's lips quirked up despite himself, the Vampire was a strange little thing. Without looking to Luna Bianci for help, he nicked his wrist and held it up to Cielo's lips again.

The Bianci's eyes widened in anticipation and surprise, his slender hands holding tightly to his wrist as his fangs sank in.

Luka flinched imperceptibly when Cielo broke skin. Vampires had unique saliva with incredible healing properties to stop their prey from bleeding out. They also had a venom of sorts that acted like an aphrodisiac, this was to keep their prey from squirming while they drank.

Naturally, this venom didn't work on other Vampires. Luka never understood the long line of Vampires eager to feed Biancis. He held the customs in high regard, just like any other Vampire, but their eagerness seemed over the top.

Right then, he understood why. Biancis only fed from Vampires, and although he never had a reason to think about it before but it was only right that their venom would have an effect on other Vampires.

Luka's expression didn't change, save for his first reaction, heat burned up from his wrist, it coiled down his veins, making him swallow thickly. He had wondered why Prince Elio and Luna Bianci hadn't made an effort to give them privacy, and now it made a bit of sense.

Cielo drank just as timidly as his personality was, it was like little sharp teeth were gnawing Luka from the inside out. He drank in little sips, it drove Luka insane, his hands clenching into fists.

The pleasure was sublime, it started slow and grew like an unsuspecting tide, it made him drowsy. Luka had to fight the urge to wrench his wrist away, he had brought this on himself, he had to endure it.

Luna had to be the one to interfere, gently pulling her younger brother's head away. She often kept him company while he fed - Cielo was too passive, she was a little worried he would get taken advantage of - and she had never seen him get lost in feeding like right then.

His gaze was glazed over as he stared right through her, his greedy tongue swiping over his lips. Luna brute forced him out of Luka's arms, the son of the Duke was pretty impressive, most Vampires would have lost all the strength in their limbs in a shorter time.
