# Chapter 181: Coming to Seek Revenge? No, Coming to Deliver a Wife From a Thousand Miles Away
"Your English, very good work. My, cannot understand work." Hayato casually made a Rant, but honestly, compared to Pegasus, that fake foreigner who said "subarashii" more smoothly than "you" or "me," this blonde little girl's English was 1000% better.
"A gentleman shouldn't keep a lady waiting, but unfortunately, I'm no gentleman, and you, little one, aren't a lady either." Hayato said, collecting the Cards on the table. Like a Magic Trick, he pulled out another Deck from his chest.
Although the "buy Card Pack lottery" Rules limited the number of people who could Duel daily, the number of people Hayato and Yugi had to deal with each day was still quite terrifying. While some of these Duelists were Small Fry who would Spread Open their entire Deck, full of Normal Monsters without a single Spell and Trap Card, occasionally, a Duelist with some Strength would appear.
It was because of this that Hayato proactively came to help Yugi deal with the Duelists who came knocking. A few days ago, Hayato's DP Balance was only 2000+, but after being busy these past two days, it had recovered to over 6000.
However, in contrast, Hayato and Yugi's Decks were also thoroughly figured out by those Duelists. After all, there were only about forty-something Cards in a Deck that could be used. Those Duelists even started consciously putting targeting Cards into their own Decks.
Because of this, Hayato now basically rotated between three main Decks. One Match might be Armed Dragon LV7, the next he'd pull out a Gaia the Dragon Champion, and the one after that would be a swarm of Small Animals ganging up. Even Yugi, it was Yugi Mutou and Dark Yugi taking turns Dueling.
But just as Hayato finished setting up his replacement Deck, the girl sitting across from him proudly raised her head, revealing a slender, fair neck like a swan's. "You must be Hayato Kobayashi, right? Hmph! I don't want to Duel you."
"The person I'm looking for is Yugi Mutou!"
"Yugi Mutou" turned his head to look over. "Huh? Looking for me? But Hayato-kun and I are the same, we're both Duel Kings."
"Oh? You're Yugi Mutou?" The blonde little girl looked at Yugi dismissively, sizing him up. "Hmph, just like in the photo, your hair is combed like a starfish that's soaked up Fukushima water. Anyone can tell you're not a good person just by looking."
"A starfish!?" Yugi was a little struck. "I don't want to either, but everyone in my family has this hairstyle. Ji-chan, and Ji-chan's Ji-chan, all have this hairstyle."
"What's going on?" Just then, Tristan also arrived in front of the Kame Game Store and noticed the commotion. He was holding several cups of drinks, seemingly milk tea or something similar.
Hayato Spread Open his hands innocently. "This 'Lady' says she doesn't want to Duel me, but wants to Duel Yugi instead, and also said Yugi's hair looks like a starfish and he must not be a good person."
Tristan was also taken aback upon hearing this and subconsciously looked at Yugi's hair. He hadn't noticed it before, but now that it was pointed out, he realized Yugi's hair really did look like a starfish. Unable to hold back, Tristan burst out laughing. "Pfft hahahaha, it's true, Yugi, your hair really does look like a starfish."
"Yugi Mutou, I'm challenging you. But I'm not interested in Duel Kings or anything like that." The blonde little girl stood up from her seat. Only then did Hayato notice she was carrying a plush toy bear. He remembered it was called "Teddy" or "Terry Bear," anyway, it was a famous brand toy bear, quite expensive.
"After I beat you, you must return the Card your Grandpa stole from me!"
"Ji-chan, stole a Card?" Yugi was confused and said with some uncertainty, "Ji-chan isn't that kind of person?"
"Hmph, stop pretending! Your Grandpa—Solomon Mutou—stole that Super Rare Card from the Duel Monsters World, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon from America!"
Hearing the words Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Hayato snapped his head to look at the little girl. Because a considerable amount of time had passed, Hayato's memory of the Plot from his previous life was a bit blurry, but the part about "demanding the Blue-Eyes" was quite deeply ingrained in his Impression.
If that was the case, this little girl must be—
"My name is Rebecca desu. I specifically came to Domino City from America this morning," the blonde little girl—Rebecca—introduced herself. "The Blue-Eyes White Dragon is originally a Super Powerful Card from America. It's only right that it should be given to me, the All-American Number One."
"Huh? This little girl is the All-American Number One?" Yugi and Hayato hadn't said anything yet, but a guy dressed like a thug standing behind Rebecca laughed. "You need some skill to make a joke, saying you're the All-American Number One..."
Before he could say much more, the thug froze. "You, you couldn't be!"
He frantically pulled a Newspaper from his pocket, compared a photo printed on the page with Rebecca's face, and then panicked, leaving the line. It seemed he had given up on Dueling Hayato.
Hayato casually picked up the dropped Newspaper and glanced at it before handing it to Yugi. Yugi looked at it and said understandingly, "It really is you, Rebecca. The Champion of the All-American Duel Monsters Tournament that just finished. I thought you looked familiar at first."
The Newspaper was running a story titled, "All-American Duel Monsters Tournament Concludes Successfully, 'The Bandit' Disappears, Champion is Her?" It stated that the name of the new All-American Champion was Rebecca and included a photo.
It seemed Keith, who was kicked out of the Duelist Kingdom after attacking Pegasus, couldn't continue participating in tournaments. Usually, the news always showed him hunting for Prize Money from various competitions.
"Anyway, hurry up and Duel me, then hand over the Blue-Eyes!" It seemed her Patience had completely worn out. Rebecca's pretty eyebrows furrowed, not allowing Yugi to refuse at all. She directly grabbed his hand and dragged him outside. Even though he was seventeen years old, Yugi was easily pulled away by the mere twelve-year-old Rebecca. He couldn't even successfully say that the Blue-Eyes White Dragon had already been torn up by Kaiba.
"Hey, Yugi!"
"Let go of Yugi's hand!"
Joey Wheeler and Téa quickly stood up and chased after them outside. Tristan also quickly put down the milk tea in his hand and followed.
Hayato sat in his seat, watching the show happily, and comfortably took a big sip of milk tea.
Rebecca, full name Rebecca Hopkins, her Grandpa was Professor Hopkins, who had given the Blue-Eyes White Dragon to Grandpa Solomon. The two were very good Friends. However, Rebecca didn't know this and instead misunderstood that Grandpa Solomon had stolen her Grandpa's Card, leading to this misunderstanding that came to their door.
However, at the end of the Duel with Yugi, at the Stakes of Yugi Dueling and Going Easy, Rebecca won the Duel, and then awkwardly discovered the Truth. Full of shame, she instead fell for Yugi, who was four years older than her.
"What's this? Why did they run off?" "I bought a hundred packs just to get the Qualification."
The commotion in the line brought Hayato back to his senses. Yugi and Joey Wheeler ran off, but this stall was still set up.
Looking at the remaining seven or eight Duelists, Hayato stood up, stretched his limbs, and changed the Deck he planned to use. "There are still so many people left. Dueling one by one is too slow. I'm in a hurry to watch the show. You guys, all come at once!"
From a perspective invisible to these Duelists, behind Hayato, a burly Giant Dragon covered in Sharp Blades let out a roar.
the temporary lack of Duels in these past few days' updates.
What follows are three main points - first, the current Rebecca storyline, though the Duel between Yugi and Rebecca won't be described in detail, it's roughly considered daily life.
Then, the third point is Ryuji Otogi. Dungeon Dice Monsters is quite interesting. When I was in elementary school, I mistakenly thought this game, like Yu-Gi-Oh!, was also made into a real game. Because of this, I even learned to make dice out of paper, and all the dice used when the class played cards were provided by me. Only later did I realize that Dungeon Dice Monsters wasn't made into a real game, which is a shame.
Lastly, the second point, which is the relatively main storyline—the Duel Monsters Adventure, that part with Dragon Master Knight and Five-Headed Dragon. I plan to write about this in detail.
After this, the second major arc of Yu-Gi-Oh! begins—Battle City.
