Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: The Return of the Slug Princess

The sun shone brightly over Konoha, its golden rays filtering through the gaps in the rooftops as the city bustled with activity.

Vendors shouted, civilians chattered, and children ran down the stone-paved streets of the Leaf Village.

Gojo, standing with his grandfather at the village gates, blinked in surprise.

Because before him stood a woman known throughout the shinobi world.

Her reputation as one of the Legendary Sannin, her strength, and... well, certain unforgettable features, made her impossible to miss.

His gaze first landed—unintentionally—on what many in the village referred to as the 'Heavenly Peaks' of the ninja world.

He blinked rapidly, eyes wide with recognition and disbelief.

"You're… Tsunade Senju…?!"

Wearing her iconic grass-green haori with the kanji for "gamble" (賭) on the back and a grey blouse held by a dark bluish-grey obi that matched her pants, she stood with pride and authority. At her side was a composed woman in a bluish-black kimono with white trim—Shizune, ever loyal.

Gojo's stunned expression didn't go unnoticed.

Tsunade's eyes softened.

She smiled with a mix of nostalgia and affection, ruffling the boy's silver-white hair. "You've grown up well… and you look just like Grandfather Tobirama, you little brat."

She paused for a moment, lost in thought.

---

Three weeks earlier, in a smoky gambling den far from Konoha, Tsunade leaned back with a bottle in hand, her cheeks tinged red.

Shizune stood nearby, arms crossed, watching the pile of IOUs growing on the table.

"Tsunade-sama, we need to—"

"Shush, just one more round. I'm feeling lucky."

At that moment, a messenger burst in. "Lady Tsunade, you have a letter—urgent. From the Fire Capital."

"Can't you see I'm busy?" she snapped.

"Please… It's from someone claiming to be your kin."

With a huff, she took the scroll. Unrolling it, her expression changed instantly.

It was from Gojo's grandfather.

In the letter, he introduced himself as the grandson of Tobirama Senju and guardian to Gojo.

He spoke of Gojo's insistence to attend the Konoha Academy, his unique gifts, and his sincere desire to walk the ninja path.

But more than anything, he pleaded for Tsunade to return—not just to teach Gojo, but to protect him.

He wrote about the boy's strange bloodline recovery—how a minor injury healed on its own within seconds.

How wherever Gojo's blood touched the earth, small green saplings emerged.

Reading that, Tsunade's eyes widened. The scroll fell from her hands.

"Sage Body…? Wood Release…?"

The table snapped beneath her clenched fist.

"Shizune. We're going back."

---

Now, standing before her blood relative, Tsunade saw it.

The spark.

The uncanny resemblance to both Tobirama and the First Hokage in his chakra and aura.

Gojo looked confused, speechless.

Tsunade crouched to his level and smirked. "You're going to bring the Senju name back to glory, kid. I'll make sure of it."

Shizune stepped forward, nodding politely to Gojo.

Even she was taken aback by his beauty—his snow-white hair, those charming eyes, the subtle glow of vitality around him.

Tsunade extended her hand. "Come on. Let's go see our home."

With one last nod to Gojo's grandfather, the old man smiled and turned to leave, satisfied.

---

The Senju ancestral compound hadn't been touched in years.

Weeds crept up through the cobbled paths, and vines clung to the sides of wooden walls.

Yet it stood—firm and proud—like the clan it once represented.

As they walked through the entrance, Tsunade took a deep breath.

Her hands trembled slightly, but she composed herself quickly.

"We'll clean this place up. It's going to be your home now."

Inside the main building, Tsunade led Gojo to a tatami room and placed her palm gently on his chest.

Gojo blinked. "W-What are you doing, Beautiful Sister?"

Tsunade smirked. "I'm not Sister anymore, brat. Just checking your chakra meridians. Relax."

Her eyes closed, chakra flowing gently into him as she examined his Chakra flow in the meridians.

After a few seconds, her eyes snapped open.

"This is… incredible. His vitality is beyond even an Uzumaki. And this… the cells are reacting like—"

A wide smile broke across her face. "You've got your grandfather's body, alright.

But there's something more… it's blooming inside you. The beginnings of Wood Release."

Gojo tilted his head, still confused.

Then—

[Ding! Congratulations to host for plundering Naruto's opportunity. Reward: +10,000 System Points.]

Gojo's eyes widened.

"System…? I didn't even do anything!"

[You don't always have to fight to win, host. Some victories come simply from being born superior.]

He nearly coughed at the smug tone.

But inwardly, Gojo grinned. This… this was just the beginning.

Now under Tsunade's wing, with Shizune nearby and the ancestral home of the Senju once again occupied, Gojo felt a shift in the air.

The legacy of the Senju would not only return.

It would dominate.
