Chapter 26 - He Nearly Lost His Mind!

"Mr. White, you come here to ruin my company again? Just like you sent your Black Roses gangster yesterday?" Noah asked playfully.

Victor felt as if lightning had struck him. He was shocked. How could this young man know about his connection to Black Roses? That information was supposed to be confidential.

He tried to respond, but again, the young man interrupted. He could only clench his teeth in frustration, suppressing his irritation.

Noticing how red Victor White's face has become, Noah decides to stop provoking him, fearing that this old man might end up dying here from high blood pressure.

"What do you want, Mr. White?" Noah asked.

Victor didn't respond immediately, instead gesturing to the man beside him. Shortly after, the man placed two sets of papers on the table and pushed them toward Noah.

"Young man, this is my offer..." Victor said, his eyes fixed on Noah.

Noah ignored the paper, rubbing his eyebrow with a smile—his gesture was enough to provoke Victor again.

"Sign the damn paper to sell this company to me, young man!" Victor roars, his voice cold and seething, shocking Alan Caldwell.

Ignoring Victor's fury, Noah spotted Jason in the corner, ready to march toward Victor. He quickly signaled for Jason not to make any move.

It was not only Jason who was worried about hearing Victor. But Alan Caldwell grew concerned, too.

Alan Caldwell leaned in and whispered, "Should I call the police? They could force you to sign the paper, Noah! I'm worried..."

Noah shot a quick smile at Alan, hoping to lighten his worries.

"No need, uncle. This old man didn't have a chance to force me to do anything because he was so stupid!" He said it loudly enough to shock Victor and his people.

Victor stared at Noah in disbelief, his expression silently questioning whether he was being foolish or had lost his mind along the way.

The man next to Victor finally said, "Excuse me. Your name is Noah Morgan, right?"

Noah looked at him before calmly answering, "Yes!"

"Let me introduce myself... I'm Mr. Victor White's lawyer. I suggest you read my client's proposal and sign it quickly. If you don't, I'm sorry to inform you that you will regret it." The man said, trying to pressure Noah.

When the lawyer thought Noah would be afraid to hear his words, he nearly choked upon seeing the young man ignore him. Instead, he turned to look at Victor.

"How much do you offer?" Noah asked.

Victor's upper lip raised slightly to form a smile. "I'm generous enough to offer you two million."

Noah bursts into laughter at the proposal. He had expected Victor to propose a substantial sum, but the offer is laughable!

"Young man, two million will allow you to live comfortably in this city." Victor's smile widened as he continued, "Moreover, do you know this company is nearing bankruptcy? They have no hope of acquiring a new project. Only I can help this company succeed..."

"What are you—" Alan paused to counter Victor's claim. He looked at Noah with concern.

Noah smiled at Alan, "Uncle, there's no need to waste your energy talking to these foolish people. You need to trust me!"

"Okay, okay, Noah..." Alan Caldwell nods supportively, placing his faith in Noah. He decides to stay quiet, watching Noah skillfully handle the situation with Victor White.

"Do you need more?" Victor said, noticing Noah's reluctance to accept his offer. "I can offer a bonus... How about land? A house or an apartment?"

"Do you think your offer is tempting to me?" Noah replied, a playful smile dancing on his lips.

"For goodness' sake, young man, if I were in your position, I'd accept it!" the lawyer interjected. With impatience, he handed Noah a pen. "Sign it immediately. We can't afford to waste time begging you, Mr. Morgan!"

"What my lawyer stated is correct, young man," Victor remarked as he looked at his bodyguard. "This man beside me will force you if you refuse to sign." His expression had shifted from warm to frigid.

Noah's face was plastered with a smug smirk before he challenged him, "You can try, Mr. White!"

Victor sneered internally, irritated by Noah's boldness in confronting him.

"Fine then, I will send you straight to the hospital!" he laughed.

He angrily instructed his bodyguard, "Force him to sign and break his hands and legs after that!" His gaze never left Noah; he wanted to see how long this young man could maintain his calm demeanor before him.

"Yes, sir!"

The bodyguard stood up from his seat, a murderous intent slowly appearing in his gaze as he gave Noah an evil grin.

However, a mighty hand gripped his shoulder before he could take even a step, forcing him to sit back in his chair, shocked.

"Fuck!! Who are you!!" the bodyguard shouted, turning to confront the man behind him. He was utterly shocked at the man's overwhelming aura and instantly felt powerless under his gaze.

"Stay still, or I will send you straight into your funeral!" Jason said coldly, shocking Victor and the others.

Seeing the man still pinching his powerful bodyguard made Victor worry. "Who the hell are you? Do you know who I am?" he asked angrily.

Jason's cold gaze fixed on Victor as he said, "You didn't deserve to know me! And... Who are you again?"

"What the..." Victor nearly lost his mind. He couldn't believe he had come to this place and met two people who didn't care about his name or reputation. This insult really made him angry.

"Looks like you really want me to use violence!" Victor spat, pulling out his cell phone. Just as he was about to make a call, Noah stopped him.

"Mr. White, you shouldn't come here and vent your foolish annoyance." Noah chuckled as he watched Victor pointing his finger at him in irritation. He continued, "I suggest you go to the police to help your son."

Noah's words instantly drained the color from Victor's face.

"No way! It seems like you weren't aware that the police had detained your son...Ryan White?" Noah pretended to be surprised, even though he had guessed it from the start.

"Well, sir, you should seek the best lawyer to assist him, as I hear no one can help your beloved son." Noah fueled Victor's anger further.

He feels satisfied as he watches Victor White's face pale and stiff in panic while instructing his lawyer to make a call. Despite several attempts, the call fails to connect.

A fierce, murderous aura immediately emerged from Victor as he icily said, "If something happens to my son, I will kill you, Noah Morgan!" before rising from his seat and rushing out of the room.
