Humphrey stared at THE WATER BEAST FOUNTAIN in awe.
SO MAJESTIC! He thought to himself. Three water beasts glinted beautifully in the moonlight. I WONDER WHAT ELSE IS HERE, Humphrey thought as he blobbed towards the cobblestone path showcasing different marble statues.
"OOOH!" Humphrey exclaimed. "SO SNOWY." He looked at a statue depicting a man with a beard trudging in the snow with two huge water beasts behind him, carrying various supplies in their long travels. They carried food, clothing, water, and other valuables, no doubt. Humphrey was impressed. "HARMISHWORTH'S FOUNDER!" He exclaimed. The man wore a large Burberry gabardine coat with strong canvas wrapped boots.
The two water beasts behind him looked stern and focused with cold winds beating against them in a snowy blizzard. Who knows how long they had been travelling for.
Humphrey read the statues description plate, which stated, 'HARMISHWORTH'S HISTORY: BJORN BIELKE'.
As Humphrey continued along the path, he continued to view other interesting statues, making remarks like, "THAT IS SO COOL!"; "I WONDER WHAT THAT IS…"; "THAT IS SO ADORABLE."
Humphrey also stumbled upon the deepest part of the garden courtyard. There was hardly anybody walking around in this area, so it was quiet here. Humphrey blobbed forward, and saw an odd warning.
It said, 'DANGER. DO NOT TOUCH. STAY BACK.'
Humphrey was confused, and asked himself "WHY?"
Suddenly he heard a snap and sounds of stone crumbling.
Humphrey looked behind him in a fright, "WHAT WAS THAT!?"
There was a single large flower where the danger message was shown. It was yellow, with pink leaves, and dark curled anthers. It arose and loomed over Humphrey.
CHOMP!
The flower gulped Humphrey whole, closing its petals around his body.
But Humphrey's ghost was still standing on the ground.
Humphrey panicked! He was a ghost!
Upon further inspection, the flower's dark curled anthers were actually dark skulls.
Before Humphrey could scream, he heard the voice of a young boy laughing his head off.
Humphrey looked up and saw a ghost of a boy flying above in front of him. The boy said, "HA! YOUR EXPRESSIONS ARE AMAZING! I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT YOU!" The freckled boy laughed and wagged a finger at him, taunting him immaturely.
The freckled ghost boy explained himself. "EARLIER, I WAS WATCHING YOU AS A STATUE! MY STATUE WAS PRETTY FUNNY, RIGHT!?"
Humphrey was confused, but then remembered a statue depicting a boy with freckles, with his fingers in wagging position in front of his forehead, and a smile like he was almost ready to tell a joke. Humphrey thought it was weird that a statue of a random kid would be displayed in this fancy courtyard, but he didn't think too much of it.
"YES, I REMEMBER." Humphrey stated.
The freckled ghost boy smiled and said, "YEAH, WELL, EVEN IF YOU COULD SEE MY STATUE FORM, YOU COULDN'T SEE ME BECAUSE I'M A GHOST. THAT KINDA MADE ME SAD. SO, I GOT OUT OF MY STATUE FORM (WHICH CRUMBLED AWAY RIGHT AFTER) AND PRANKED YOU! I TURNED YOU INTO A GHOST LIKE ME!"
"WHAT!!!" Humphrey the ghost screamed.
"WHAT?" The ghost boy said. "YOU CAN SEE ME NOW! ALL THANKS TO THOSE YELLOW SKULL FLOWERS WHICH CAN TURN MORTALS INTO GHOSTS!" The boy said. "PRETTY COOL, RIGHT?"
