"Kid, I didn't expect the audience to be so hyped for your match. I can't just easily defeat you now," Riehlvelt said, chuckling. "I need to put on a good show! I need everyone to remember Riehlvelt's name."
He grabbed the whips from behind his wheelchair and swung one down sharply.
Crack!
A powerful air blast echoed as the whip struck the ground.
"Kid, you better put on a good show, or I won't let you leave easily," Riehlvelt warned.
"Is that so? Then I'll get serious," Loki replied, his bright smile causing Riehlvelt to pause, surprised by the kid's compliance.
'Not bad, a talent. Knowing when to hold back is good. Maybe I can recruit him later,' Riehlvelt thought.
"Good!" Riehlvelt nodded, believing Loki agreed to cooperate. "Cooperate with me, and I'll make sure you don't get hurt too badly!"
Loki remained silent, maintaining his faint smile, reinforcing Riehlvelt's impression of him as a promising recruit.
"Kid, if you want to stay on floor 200, you can join me. When I become floor master, you'll thrive here," Riehlvelt said, already envisioning his future as floor master.
The announcer commented, "Riehlvelt hasn't attacked after drawing his weapons. He's letting the newcomer strike first. As expected of a strong floor 200 fighter, he's confident." This further impressed the audience.
"I'll make my move!" Loki declared.
"Okay! Show them a good fight, and you can leave easily," Riehlvelt said.
Instantly, Loki vanished. A burst of red Nen, like a flame, erupted from thin air. The Nen light dissipated, and Riehlvelt's smile froze. He hadn't seen Loki's movement; it was too fast.
A breeze brushed his head. Riehlvelt activated his Nen ability, "Burst Propulsion," injecting Nen into his wheelchair for incredible speed.
Loki missed his initial attack and pursued Riehlvelt.
'He tried to surprise me. Cunning kid. I'll show him,' Riehlvelt thought.
Loki suddenly appeared before Riehlvelt.
"Is this the strength of a floor 200 fighter? So weak!" Loki said, his smile unchanged.
Riehlvelt was stunned. His Burst Propulsion should have prevented this.
He swung his whips at Loki.
Loki easily dodged, his smile unchanged. But now, it felt like a devil's smile.
A terrifying aura erupted from Loki, enveloping Riehlvelt. He felt crushed, suffocating.
'This aura… a kid can't have this aura…'
"So insignificant," Loki said, smiling, walking towards Riehlvelt. His white cloak billowed, concealing his attack.
Riehlvelt paused his attack, noticing Loki's cloak. 'He must have a weapon hidden under there. The cloak is to conceal it. Cunning kid.'
Riehlvelt used Burst Propulsion to retreat, drawing his whips.
"You're despicable! Your speed is fast, but you can't get close!"
He swung his whips, creating air blasts and a whirlwind of red.
"Devil's Duet…"
Loki frowned, looking at Riehlvelt like an idiot.
"Wow! Riehlvelt's powerful technique, the Devil's Duet! It's offense and defense. Anyone who enters is attacked and can't get close. He forces opponents to the edge of the ring," the announcer said. "Now, what will Loki do?"
The audience was excited.
"Go, Riehlvelt! Show this kid floor 200's power!"
"Is the kid scared? He can't move!"
Loki smiled, watching Riehlvelt's wild swings. He was pathetic, weak, and using a foolish attack. Was he an idiot?
Killua and Gon, watching in the infirmary, frowned. The footage didn't show Nen, but Riehlvelt seemed as strong as Jidō and Satō. Having lost, they knew Riehlvelt's strength.
"Can Loki defeat him?" Gon asked uncertainly.
Killua nodded. "He will." He wondered how Loki would win—easily or with difficulty. This would show the gap between them.
As Killua thought this, Loki walked forward.
"You're an idiot," Loki said.
Riehlvelt's eyes narrowed. "What?"
"Don't try to surprise me. You can't touch me now! As punishment for your attack, you'll lose lying down!" Loki said, looking at Riehlvelt. "You're an Emission type, right?"
Riehlvelt was stunned. "How do you know?"
"Simple. Your Burst Propulsion's Nen didn't weaken after leaving your body. You can only be Emission type."
Riehlvelt gritted his teeth. "So what? Can you beat me?"
"You used Burst Propulsion to speed up your wheelchair. Why not add Nen-firing weapons? That would be more useful than whips!"
Riehlvelt was stunned.
Loki shook his head. He was an idiot. Why use whips when he's in a wheelchair? Combining his ability with the wheelchair would be better.
"Damn it, Devil's Duet…" Riehlvelt swung his whips. 'Die, kid!'
Crack crack!
Loki grabbed a whip, looking calmly at Riehlvelt.
"What?! He caught it…" Riehlvelt was stunned, his face darkening. 'Even if he caught it, taste electricity!'
Boom! Whoosh!
"What is that…?" Riehlvelt looked up. Loki's hands were on fire!
"What is this…?"
"Fire!!" the announcer exclaimed. "Loki's hands are on fire! He burned Riehlvelt's whips… What's happening?!"
"Did Loki have a lighter hidden?"
The flames surged upward, forming a huge fiery figure—a monstrous shape with long arms, spear-like fingers, and broad forearms, a streamlined body like a mecha. It was all formed from flames.
