Standing over the corpse of a foundation establishment cultivator, Hong Jun looked to the east, and restrained his urge to chase after the group that managed to escape.
"Let's not bother with you anymore." He stomped on the corpse below him forcefully before collecting the bag hanging at the waist of dead Qi refiners before him.
He had six such fist sized storage bags hanging on his waist. He had gotten all of them from foundation establishment cultivators.
He was already sure that the fact someone escaped might bring trouble in the future. He just couldn't care much about this at the moment.
Walking back, he discovered that old Gu Tian was holding onto a blue sword.
Clearly the material used to forge this sword was not bad and gave off a old blue lusture even at the edges.
"So this is the top grade sword?" He could feel the sword was not some ordinary object. It was a shame it had fine cracks running along the tip. Clearly a grandmaster's body is enough to rival it. He was even sure that as long as old man Gu Tian's strength made improvement to the peak of the grandmaster realm, top grade weapons could be destroyed easily in his hands.
He lost interest immediately, but old master Ye was different. He kept looking at the sword with a greedy gaze.
'It is indeed important to think of ways to set up our own blacksmith in the Hong clan' he didn't bother to interfere, as he could already foresee the sword ending up in Master Ye's hand.
He just shook his head, and looked at the two swords at his side that had completely turned black.
Due to his unique sight, obtained from breaking through to the grandmaster realm, he could see endless black smoke that was entangled with the swords was almost completely dispersed.
"Did the death of those fellows that owned this sword set the ghosts inside free. But it would best not to call them ghosts considering they dispersed as soon as they left that sword." He was not angry about this at all.
Carrying the two swords he walked back towarrds the Hong clan Territory and the moment he entered the origin trees he felt different.
Perhaps it was difficult to feel this in the past, but he felt free and unrestrained.
"What is this feeling!" He couldn't help but walk in and out of the origin trees.
"So you have figured it out too!" When old master Ye saw his actions he came over with a strange smile on his face.
"What is this?" Hong Jun couldn't help but ask.
"The absence of spiritual energy to us martial artists is far more favourable. Spiritual energy is floating everywhere and the moment you enter the grandmaster realm, your spirit is far more sensitive." Old Master Ye explained in his own way.
Hearing his words, Hong Jun didn't refute and thought he made some sense.
"So that is it!" He indeed felt when in the presence of spiritual energy, a sense of gloom was coming over him.
"Actually other than that, you will soon realise that that your Cultivation is much faster in this place." He didn't forget to add this.
The information made Hong Jun thoughtful. He had not realized it, but his speed of training in martial arts was not becoming any slower as time passed.
He knew that it was not just due to the environment, but the occasional monsters that attacked their territory.
Even for his breakthrough to the grandmaster realm he swallowed two blood cores of rank two monsters.
Thing would be difficult in the future and he might have to go out hunting for rank three monsters.
All the thoughts in his mind where almost making him incapable of thinking straight.
Shaking his head, he turned to look at the majestic gate standing below a nine meters tall origin tree, with branches spreading outwards to about a range of five meters.
A woman was standing at the entrance of the gate with a baby.
When Hong Jun arrived, he found she had a golden piece of metal with words written on it.
"Hong clan"
It was the pass for only locals. Only after seeing her did he seem to think of something else. The method might not be useful, or has a huge flaw and should be handled as in the future it might be exploited by the enemies.
"Let's not dwell on this issue before my strength reaches a sufficient enough level, after all this means might not work before the strong." He thought as he walked over and a jade token was suspended on his waist.
He walked through the gate without much issue.
He was holding two precious swords, but the old Master Ye had a blue sword with a smile on his face.
Old Gu Tian had a gloomy look on his face, but he seemed to be supressing anger each time he looked at his adorable grandson.
"Sigh! The old man is indeed in a difficult situation. He can't decide what emotions he should have at this moment, after all his granddaughter has come back with a baby. He is not a great grandfather. He can't get angry, scold or even raise his hands against his granddaughter." He thought all of this in his head and didn't dare to say it out loud.
He realized that no one paid heed to the two rough swords he was holding.
The thing that he was sure about was that the swords were made from some tough material.
He couldn't shake in the slightest, and this was why he was happy about it.
Walking away, he motioned the other three with his hands to go safely. He then walked towards his home.
He turned his gaze towards the swords in his hand, and his eyes suddenly had a golden ring in the pupils.
"Vanished? All vanished?" He couldn't help but look at the two swords seriously with the thoughtful look.
"Since the ghosts raised in this two swords are gone, it should be possible to find a blacksmith to smelt both swords and make a single sword. Best seek someone with skills of a blacksmith." He thought seriously.
"Before that, we have a lot to do. Let's focus on Su Qingqin first!" He threw all thoughts out of his mind as he walked towards his wife's location.
