"Now, why don't you tell me more about your sister?" Garrett Vincent asked softly.
"Huh? Like this...?" Danielle replied awkwardly.
"Yes, just like that," Garrett said with quiet encouragement.
Reluctantly, Danielle kept talking about Rachel, while secretly cursing her in her heart.
Rachel was just a sanitation worker, and she'd even been in prison!
Even if her background was decent, spending three years behind bars couldn't compete with how perfectly Danielle had kept up her own image.
What did Garrett even see in her?!
Some part of Danielle couldn't shake the feeling that the only reason Garrett hadn't dumped her yet was because she was Rachel's sister.
But she quickly shoved that thought aside.
"Later on... my sister met Ralph. He chased after her for a while. Then one time she twisted her ankle while hiking, and Ralph carried her down the mountain. After that, she agreed to date him. They were kinda sweet together, she used to make him bento boxes all the time..."
