My heart stilled at his words, "He wanted me to come over and show him? Why do I feel like he doesn't mean it?" I was conflicted about what to do, and the fact that a couple of eyes were staring daggers at me.
"There is nothing wrong with coming out, you are just overthinking it," I swallowed, stepping out from Damon's frame.
Slowly, I peeked my head out. I saw the furious elder whose eyes held malice; it was like he wanted to shred me into pieces.
"The meeting is over for now," Damon's voice made me stop midway.
"But she has something to correct on the map?" another werewolf said.
"And I said the meeting is over for now! I will send you the time we will be meeting next time."
The werewolves bowed their heads in submission as they moved to walk out of the door. Elder Dominic turned around, his brows furrowed. "Bring her along during the next meeting." Then he finally left the room.
