Chapter 8 - Chapter 7 - Power and some help...?

Ngl, I love this book so much I wish I was reading it with you all, but I'm stuck having to think and write :(

Choose between Ana de Armas and Ryan Reynolds. I'm with Ryan all day anyday.

He heard soft purring as Izuku slowly captured his bearings and woke up. Looking down, he saw Daisy mewing up at him as he scratched behind her ear, inciting an exhilarated response.

He looked around and sighed. Part of him wishes he was back on Earth, but alas thing's didn't often go his way. Well there was no point in getting miserable now.

Izuku had his own main goal and that was to get back. However, if he used his own knowledge correctly, 'Hell' was infinite.

Which was a very big hassle. So he would have to infinitely search for possible clues to find even a possible route to get to a portal or find a portal maker.

Getting up and stretching, he walked to a pile of documents that sat thrown into a corner which collected dust as he blew on it to reveal a 'Codex'.

Flipping it open he skimmed through carefully, but it was all in vain as he realised it was all written in English once again. This was starting to annoy him as all this vital information was presented to him and yet he didn't even think of properly learn the lingua franca beforehand.

However, there were images.

Images on the first sections of the pages had shown the bullets of different weapons. There was also a demon.

Izuku could almost depict that if you could kill a demon, the soul will wander around.

He quickly turned back to the entrance of the cave as there was a large build up of the hordes of imps he had killed. Walking over to it, he could see lingers of floating whispers of souls. As if reacting to his presence, the accumulated souls had all condensed into the form of...bullets.

Large rounds at that.

And judging by the immense size of these rounds, Izuku could assume that he could last with these for more than 2 years minimum.

'...Heh' this was just like a game he played back in the day in secrecy when he went to an arcade store.

...Don't ask how he got the money to pay for it. He did not steal, he borrowed...without giving it back.

And this is just 8 days of killing demons. So with more time against them, he would have accumulated even more storages of ammo and the good thing was there was a storage setting in one of the backrooms of the station.

Who knows how long he will stay here. He will need even more and so that would mean committing more mass genocide. Good for him though because he hates demons.

There were also too many factors to rule out. His life span, food, water, necessities. He hasn't had any of this for the last week though which slightly confused him. He still loves food, but during the rampage, he didn't feel the need for having all these things.

He was still a human for goodness sake. A human stranded in Hell.

It wasn't good to dwell in his thoughts for too long though, as he needed to find a way to power this place up. As he looked around, there was a bowl-shaped port that was prominent seen by him. Plugged to it was what looked like a generator, but it seemed to have no power...

Power...a generator perhaps?

It looked like the same one in the document! He rushed back up to the main deck as he flipped through the pages. It was the same bowl-shaped curve drawing with a blue lined out generator which powered the entire place.

So he needed to get a new one. However, this was in a place...outside there.

He could almost make it out.

'Ex-xu-Exultee-a...' he managed to pronounce with broken English. He gazed towards the entrance of the cave and didn't speak any further as he walked forward.

He looked back quickly to make sure Daisy was all fine, but it didn't seem like he needed to worry as he saw her pouncing around the place looking at all the tech. It didn't look like there would be any demons breaking into this place otherwise why wouldn't it have been infested with demons before?

Moving towards the maps he saw a location which had the same name as what was said in the documents.

...It was quite the way away. Well, not that he had any choice in the matter. He needed the power and if it took a few days to reach there, then he will be fine with it.

He loaded his shotgun to the max capacity of 50 and to be sure that no one will enter, he barricaded the cave entrance with the numerous bodies of imps, leaving it so that only a passage way which he could enter through was allowed.

As he cocked his shotgun, only one thought ran through his mind.

'Time to begin the first crusade.'

TIMESKIP (1 Week later)

He did not expect it to take what felt like a week to reach 'Exultia'.

Yes he managed to figure it out how to say it and where it was due to the map's location.

It wasn't because he couldn't find the place.

There was just thousands upon thousands of demons. Sure, it was easy to rip through them, but as they began to crowd around him more and more, it became increasingly difficult to go against the denizens of Hel—

...Are you nuts?

What do you mean 'difficult'?

Where was Izuku finding 'difficulty'?

Izuku ran through the demons like a walk in the park, except in this case he ripped and teared through flesh and devil skin as easy as you would think. He grabbed another imp by the face crushing it in an instant.

'These are definitely not the only things here in Hell otherwise why would such weak being's like this stray around these parts...' he thought to himself as he finally reached the gates of Exultia.

Just then the gates closed around him as he was now in an arena based setting. There were imps lurking around, but now there were some new entities that had arrived.

The first was the one with a more muscular build as the hulking wall of muscle towered over the imps. Its grey and purple, scarred flesh stretched over a knotted sinew around its face as it growled.

The other was floating like a bloated, demonic balloon of flesh and rot. Its massive and gaping maws opened wide, revealing rows of dagger—like teeth.

There were quite the few of them two. Variants of all sorts. He would test them of course. To see how much they can take without him using a shotgun.

They all rushed at him as he jumped high and landed down a large bang as the surrounding demons all fell back from the shockwave, but it turned out the the muscular ones didn't mind at all.

All of them rushed as Izuku sped to one before landing a right hook to its face intending for his fist to go through. However much to his mild surprise, the demon was only knocked back, albeit it was launched back to the wall growling in pain.

'That's one punch...what if I land one more...?' he thought as he weaved through the rest of them as the other heavier demons were trying to catch up to him.

The one muscular only saw a dark blinding force of rage as the last thing it saw before him was a large fist as it rammed through his face, ultimately exploding its face.

'Two punches to death...' he thought as he quickly turned and dodged an attack before landing a straight hand into another heavy muscular demon. It staggered and before it could register what happened, Izuku jumped onto it and grabbed it by the neck before ripping its full head off.

'One punch to stagger...' he concluded as this was his final analysis of the heavy demon.

With quick succession he dodged the floating demons jaws and grabbed both jaws before proceeding to rip the demon in half.

Looking around again, more heavy demons popped up as he thought about taking his shotgun out, but thought to himself.

'Let's get some experience first and try to end them all with a single punch.'

With that he dismissed taking the shotgun out, as he cracked his knuckles before rushing through the next hordes of Hell.

===

It was only after the first hour that he felt his body's strength increase as a whole when he began destroying the heavier demons with a single punch.

After a few hours of ripping through the demons and acquiring all the demon souls, which he already lost count since the day he arrived, he went to the closed gates as he tore them apart before walking up. On his way a few more imps and gargoyles came by to 'try' and kill him.

All the heads had become part of the mist in the wind.

In the centre of the chamber he found exactly what he was looking for. There was a power core sitting... right there. This was most definitely a trap but was Izuku bothered?

No he was not. He walked directly to the core and as if he had predicted it, a giant ball like structure swung from the side as Izuku dodged swiftly before it crashed to the other side of the room. Dust had built up as the wall broke down but inside had something else there.

He raised his eyebrows as he picked up a bi-coloured heavy assault rifle which was a red and black. It was definitely a heavy weapon, but nothing he could handle as he propped it up on his shoulders as he looked around the cave and saw something he would not expect in Hell.

Then again, weapons and a man-cave were found so he wasn't particularly surprised by much anymore.

stepping on a rock which crushed below, he picked up one of the two figurines which quite literally resembled the demons that he had fought so far. It was an imp and the muscular demon.

'What is this even doing here...?' He looked unamused but thought about his current situation.

He was in Hell. Other than blazing through the hordes of Hell's forces and finding and locating things in the infinite domain, he had quite legitimately, nothing else to do.

Looking down at the imp toy in his hand and the one on the floor, he thought to himself, 'Fuck it why not?' before placing the heavy cannon on his back along side his shotgun and picking up the the second figurine. He pocketed the imp and as he crouched down and picked up the second one, there was a clicking sound as he went on high alert gazed around the small space.

From the ceiling above him, a small piece of paper fell down. Catching it with his hand, he read through the documents with difficulty again as it was all in English.

'That's it. When I get back to the cave, I'm learning English,' he thought as ticks formed on his temple.

He sighed as he walked out of the small space which was crumpled by the boulder from the trap and strode towards the power core. Lifting it up he then proceeded to make his way out of the castle.

'No time to waste. Daisy must be worried for me,' he thought amused as he made his way back with haste as he ran through the mutilated corpses of his first, proper crusade.

'Who would've thought I would be hunting demons for a living...'

TIMESKIP (2 days later)

It wasn't a long while since he got back as he went through the same route as he killed the demons. During all of this, he had collected more and more demon souls along his way and any stray souls.

The accumulated amount of souls he had obtained was already way too many to count, so now he wouldn't even have to worry about bullets being lost carelessly anytime soon. He would still have to find a way to carry weapons in a possible storage component which he can summon from.

Anything's possible. Quirks like those did appear in the human world, but reports of these only contained a storage space of up to 10 to 100 items maximum. He would need to find a way to get an infinite storage space and luckily enough he was in a realm of infinite possibilities.

As he finally made his way through the imp barrier he handcrafted, he walked down to the main station where he felt a sudden gust of wind rush and impact into him. It didn't do anything to Izuku at all, but the one who did it looked very dejected.

"Sorry Daisy...I had to find a thing to power this place..." he muttered softly to the little creature as he placed the core down and placed her on his shoulder, to which she began nuzzling her face into his.

He chuckled a little as he picked up the core and went down further to the bowl-shaped generator. He took out the previously used up core and threw it away before carefully placing the new core, vibrant with a blue glow to it, in its place.

...A few seconds went by as nothing happened.

"Did something go wrong...?" he uttered out, but it would seem like luck was to the rescue as Daisy jumped down from his shoulder and going to the side of the generator she flipped a switch.

Everything had been turned on.

Sporting a short but happy grin, he voiced out his praise to her, "Seem's you;ve kept yourself busy...well done Daisy."

The little rodent only replied back in what seemed like a thank you as she put her paw on her head and saluted him. He won't even question it as his world was filled with quirks.

A bunny saluting him was just a normal thing at this point.

He turned and looked around as there was a smooth and long humming sound being generated from the all corners of the station. A low hum began to echo through the chamber, resonating through the rusted walls

The largest screen behind him sparked to life with a violent burst of static and flickering code. A voice—fragmented and synthetic—cut through the silence.

"...con...n-n-n-ection...r-r-r-restored...VEGA...ce-celetial p-p-power core...fragmented...r-r-reconstructing..."

His eyes widened within the instant. There was an AI here?

Izuku stayed silent with narrowed eyes as he concluded that it was still gathering its bearings. The voice cleared. Still artificial, but more calm and collected.

"This facility has not been active since the Sl—Sl—[static] departed. Identifying...anomalous biological entities. Scanning..."

He furrowed his eyes further as he took out the shotgun as a safety precaution.

"...Identity known. Subject Izuku Yagi. Son of Toshinori Yagi and Inko Yagi also known as All Might and Viridian Storm. Elder twin brother of Izumi Yagi."

...He forgot about those people for a while now. No point in dwelling on them.

...A good old fashioned 'fuck 'em' would be nice.

"Oryctolagus cuniculus, a european Rabbit named by Izuku Yagi as the companion, Daisy."

This damn AI knew everything about them. Everything, "Who the hell are you...?" he muttered as he slowly started pointing his shotgun towards the power core with one hand. Yes all that effort would've gone to waste travelling to Exultia, but it would be better that they lived rather than an AI possibly killing them.

"Hello. I am Vega. I have been assigned to the person who will have acquired access to this chamber. This means that I am referring toyou. I will aid you in all your future endeavours. I hope we get along."

Quite the numerous thoughts ran through Izuku's mind. If 'Vega' said that he was assigned here, then it confirmed his earlier theories that someone was here before him. All this was here but, Vega had officially confirmed it. Next, it stated something, 'The facility had not been acitve since...' he didn't catch the last part unfortunately. He lowered his gun down slowly.

"You were about to say something. The facility here hasn't been activated since...?" he trailed hoping that the AI would finish.

"That is correct. This place has not been active since the Slayer departed."

Slayer.

"Who is this...Slayer?"

What he heard next would change the course of his actions for the rest of his life.
