Would you leave your current life in exchange of going on a crusade down in Hell and eradicate the demons?
————————————————————————
Separating the head of another Hell Knight from its body in quick succession, Izuku glanced around his surroundings. There was still a horde left of annoying imps and several heavy demons like mancubi and such so he took out the chain-gun he recently found and switched to its mobile turret modification and opened fire.
They were all sprayed at as the bullets ripped through their bodies and one by one, they were all killed.
After all the hordes were once again finished off, he ventured into another base in hopes of finding the the final Hell Priest that VEGA told him about. Looking back, it really has been a while since he's been in Hell. VEGA told him that since he turned him back on at the station, he had already started on official clock for him and now 2 years had passed since he came here.
17 years old now, he is...
At first when he turned him on, he was very cautious of the artificial intelligence. Something like VEGA wasn't even a fully functioning thing back in his world. AI was a thing, but think about super intelligent, sentient AI that can think for itself and make its own ideas up on the spot and even experience human emotion.
That wasn't made in the his world. If it was, someone would've shown it by now and even commit diabolical things.
He wouldn't even by surprised by the whole rise in robots and them fight back against humanity for oppression and making them almost slaves to them.
Luckily for him though, VEGA wasn't like that. He was also abysmally shocked by everything he had been told by VEGA when he first turned on. He could remember it like it was yesterday...
===============================
(2 years back in Hell)
"Who is this...Slayer?"
There was a pause for a moment. Izuku raised his eyebrows but the AI quickly answered back.
"The Slayer was the first Human being to arrive here in Hell just like in your position. He wasn't killed and soul burnt like stories of Hell had made it out to be. Rather, he was forcibly senthere."
So he was right. There clearly was someone just like Izuku that was sent here similar to him, "Where can I find him...if he's even still alive?"
"The position and whereabouts of the Slayer are unknown however according to data base scans, the Slayer was sent to Hell back in 1993."
His eyes widened. That was 160 years ago.
"So...he's dead.." he murmured.
"I did not say that."
Izuku raised his head at the quick response back. Almost defiant.
"The Slayer, who was once human like you, ascended to Godhood in mortal form. Therefore, there are implications that the Slayer may still be alive."
"A God...?" he didn't expect it at all. Well he should by now. Hell exists.
Still though. Being able to turn into a God blew his mind. One moment he was cursing at God for making his life a living a Hell, no pun intended. But now he had to find out that the chance to becoming a God himself was quite literally in the palm of his hand.
He wasn't going to make it his life mission to try and become one, but the added bonus to it may give him the chance he needs to get out of Hell.
He also had a thought. How long does time pass in Hell compared to the outside realm?
"VEGA tell me...how long is one day in the human world compared to...here?"
"Roughly 14 million years."
...
He did a doubl- no a triple back take on that.
"What...?" he managed to voice out his shock. Roughly 14 million years here in Hell...is 1 day out in his world?!
That's preposterous!
He had to sit down and think this through. With a large thud, he sat on the hot, metal panels of the floor and contemplated. If he had his chances of getting back in the many years he has left, he would be back home as if nothing had ever happened.
And so VEGA had told him everything about Hell. In the beginning, billions of years ago and long before the creation of the everything, God created the first Primeval which was an entity with the strength of a God. With them, they creating multiple Dimensions like Earth, Hell and Urdak or the universe's Heaven. A higher dimensional plane that existed beyond the boundaries that mortals could reach and described it as the hub of transcendent Technology.
It was apparently told that God created a primeval for each and every dimension. However every dimension can only have one of them because if two primevals were to ever clash fists then all of reality would've crumbled. The first primeval or THE DEVIL had rebelled against God and began consuming billions of of these dimensions including hell and the primevals residing in those universes. The more dimensions that the first primeval consumed, the stronger he had become and had eventually gained so much power that his strength had rivaled that of God himself.
In order to put a stop to this revolt, God had suppressed the devil's strength. However, he would continue to grow even stronger as the devil was eventually casted away. The Seraphim had begged God to kill him but The Father said that he couldn't. It was simply because he loved his first creation, his son so much that it was too hard for him to let the Devil go. God said that if the Devil were to ever rise up again he will be defeated by another Primeval or something even worse...
That thing worse than a Primeval was none other than the Doom Slayer.
Originally the Doom Slayer had defeated all these realms. All in the hopes of keeping Humanity and its future safe. However, the Slayer had disappeared.
It was unknown as to where he went or if he had even died, but following from the chance, the surviving Makyrs had tried to find the essence of their Father, but it was hidden from them across all of Reality. They couldn't find it at all. Eventually after living so long they decided to push out their own souls into unique powers so that if Hell grows once again, they can move forward into the Human World and take over once again so that they become even stronger.
However, their souls were too strong to even be contained in a human body. Which is why they condensed their life forces down to the most minuscule amount subtracting their power to the point of which, they could only destroy building's or even make themselves look different (e.g the kid with the fat blubber chin)
Those unique powers...were quirks.
VEGA paused, allowing Izuku to digest what he had just heard. The Makyrs, were making a bridge between realms...so once the demons of Hell realised that the quirks were the souls of the Makyrs in condensed forms...they could come to the human realm and consume the humans so that the Makyrs could steal the bodies of the demons and live on.
Eventually taking over the entire Earth...
The quirks...were the Makyrs...
Blood was dripping down from his palms as his veins looked as though they were on the verge of popping out. His teeth grinded in sheer anger he finally realised the truth.
They weren't powers...the quirks were the Makyrs forming a bridge so that it can be reached from Hell and so that they could take over.
He didn't waste anymore time as he got up and loaded his shotgun and readying his heavy cannon. He knows that Hell is infinite. He knows these beings were Gods. But he won't stand to let humanity die.
He will protect it. Just like the previous Slayer did.
Fortunately for him, things were starting to look his way.
"I know where the essence of the Father is." VEGA spoke out as Izuku looked to the screen in mild surprise.
"Where?" he muttered as Izuku carefully listened to the VEGA. If he is to take on all of Hell and stop them from crossing over, then he will do whatever it takes.
"I cannot tell you that yet."
"Why?" he muttered annoyed at the AI.
"For you to take on the essence of the Father as you are now, you will gain a significant power up. However, you are not at the peak of Human physicality. You are not at the summit of power and strength of Humans." VEGA revealed as Izuku looked down.
He knew he was right. If he took it on now, then he will still become powerful. But if he were to train his body even further until he reaches the Apex of what humanity can reach, then add that to the essence of the Father...
He shuddered at the thought.
"Alright fine. I'll do it. Train my body up until I reach strength unimaginable." he voiced out as Daisy hopped beside him in akin to happiness.
"For you to reach the Apex of Humanity, according to my calculations, you must become stronger than the prime era of All Might. That is without any essence of the Makyrs or quirks in your words."
Oh...his father. All Might. He shook his head, annoyed at the thought. Some hero he is. Hero to the whole damn world and yet he neglects his own son.
If the world were to know...
He smirked at the thought, but shook his head. He will get his own type of revenge, but for now he must train.
"VEGA, how strong am I right now and how far am I to reach the Apex?" he wondered.
"Scanning your body previously, and having already gone on what you call 'crusade', you have reached 32%. The average human only has around 5% to 10%. The one you call All Might in his prime had reached 46% with the Makyrs essence."
So he wasn't that far off. But something confused him, "If my father reached 46%, why is there still a long range? Didn't his quir- no...the Makyr inside him not make him reach 100% if he was the peak human..?" he furrowed his eyebrows.
Surely for the number one hero, even if he was a piece of shit to him, he was still a hero to the rest of the world and with the strength he had, he would've been considered, the peak of Humanity.
"Scanning your biology and your ancestry, your father was originally what you name someone 'quirkless'. He was given an essence of a Makyr at the age of 17 by the previous number one hero named Paragon, NanaShimura."
...
...
...Not only was the bastard the number One hero...
...He was also quirkless?
He grabbed the nearest object he could grasp in his hands and through it to the wall, causing a web of cracks and a tremor.
"..." Daisy, as if sensing his pain hopped across the tables and jumped onto his shoulder before nuzzling her soft and cuddly fur into his cheek.
He sighed exasperated as he pulled Daisy from his shoulder and held her in his arm. He bit inside his mouth calming himself, but the rage started coming back up again no matter what he could do.
"So...his..quirklessness...had stopped him?" he thought with a bitter expression.
"The quirk he had received from his predecessor was the one named 'One for All'. It is a transferable Quirk that stockpiles power and can be passed from one person to anot—"
VEGA continued to explain as Izuku looked down to the ground with bitterness but also with a slight hint of disappointment. Before all this. Before everything...he could've been given the quirk. Just a regular power he thought which he could use to save people with. His mind wondered to him delusionally thinking he saved people with such a power.
He shook his head. What was he doing? There was no time dilly dallying with such small thoughts. It's his time now. Not only will he save Earth, he will save all of creation but first...
"VEGA...can you teach me English?"
===============================
He walked into the base of the cult as he took out the rocket launcher and shot a rocket towards the gates, resulting in an explosion, alerting the base and its inhabitants.
'Time to fuck some more demons up...' he amusedly thought as he took out his heavy cannon with the the precision bolt mod and shot the mancubi's large guns of before taking out the ballista and shooting a highly heated energy beam straight through all of the mancubi. Putting the ballista away, he took out the plasma rifle and fired orbs of plasma at all the fodders annihilating them.
It would only take a short time for him as he rushed through killing everything in his line of sight. No demon was spared. All that was happening was ripping and tearing apart demons and Izuku in the centre with an unmatched will to break everything.
After he cleared everything out, he walked into the cultist base as he asked aloud, "VEGA how long left until I reach it?"
VEGA spoke into his ear piece, "You are now at 68% of your potential. Since you have already surpassed All Might in his prime, you can either find the essence of the Father or continue with finding all the weapons."
"I'll keep going...I want to reach the pinnacle of all the races..." he muttered after.
"All right. The third and final Hell Priest is behind those doors along with the Super Shotgun."
He nodded. For the past two years, VEGA has been helping Izuku in finding the Hell Priests responsible for the death of Mary and finding them did take a while but he located the first two and he did not give them a quick death.
They took her life. His only friend's life. So they suffered. That was all there was to it.
In going on these battles and campaign's, he has found a multitude of weapons with him. He previously had his combat shotgun and his Heavy cannon, but now he has found a Chainsaw, which he uses to maul down his opponents. A chaingun which, while its range and accuracy are inferior to the heavy cannon, it compensates through the sheer firepower it can provide, especially against strong individual enemies and clusters of weaker enemies.
Three more weapons he's found were the Rocket Launcher, the Ballista and the Plasma Rifle which were astonishingly useful against demons that set up barrier's against him. Really nothing could get past him nor would he let anyone try to kill him because he would eliminate them first.
The only weapons he now has to find were some to what VEGA explained, the best of the Slayer's collection. Firstly, his iconic Super Shotgun which he was about to collect.
The next two weapons were firearms of pure mass destruction. The BFG 9000 and the Unmakyr.
The BFG 9000 and the Unmakyr were special weapons in which they were powered by a specific type of ammo called Argent energy. VEGA explained that Argent Energy was quite rare to find, but he had a small sample of it back in the Station and was able to mass produce larger samples. This was only able to be done with Izuku's adventures out in Hell as he had to find residual Argent energy sources cable of generating that much energy.
Not that it was hard to find though. In a realm of infinite possibilities, something like Argent energy will be found eventually.
As he kicked open the door, just as VEGA predicted, the final Hell Priest Deag Grav was cowering behind his table.
"N-No! S-Stay back! H-How are you alive..!" the frightened demonic entity cried out as he crawled back and unfortunately hit his back against a wall.
Izuku slowly walked to him as the thuds of his boots against the ground grew louder with each one. He slowly raised his chainsaw up as he pulled the starter cord, making the machine roar to life.
He didn't say anything as he began cutting off his legs one by one slowly, making the pain as excruciating as possible, before moving to his arms and chopping them off with slow succession.
All the Deag could do was scream in horror and insanity as he felt all the pain and suffering he felt from his fellow brothers fall upon him as well. It was known that Izuku could sense the Demons being able to communicate and even feel what their fellow demons feel, so he had already scared the Hell Priest to near death.
"It would be wise to tell him a way of getting back to Earth Hell Priest DeagGrav." VEGA voiced out as Izuku didn't really feel the need to talk to the bastard who was an accomplice in killing his friend.
"Agrk!? A-AH! W-Wait...I-I'll tell you please j-just w-wait!" he cried out as Izuku pulled back slightly watching as the Priest was crying blood tears, "T-The only way back is to k-kill t-the K-Kahn Makyr and take her soul...i-it contains the p-power to travel across the U-Universe in an instant...s-so y-you can travel back with that..." he breathed out crying.
"That is not true. The previous Slayer had already slain down the Kahn Makyr. It is unwise to tell a lie in front of the new one, so please try again otherwise..." VEGA didn't need to say anymore as Izuku cocked his combat shotgun and placed the tip of it on Deag Grav's forehead as he cried out.
"N-NO! I SWEAR IT'S TRUE! The Kahn Makyr still lives...! Right after she died her soul was taken back to Urdak where it was rehabilitated by the surviving Makyrs! P-Please y-you have to believe me..!"
"It seems he is telling the truth...The Kahn Makyr is still alive. A higher entity can be felt from Urdak. Right now as you are, facing the Kahn Makyr would be unwise. I suggest you use your time for the next foreseeable future to reach 100% completion rate before reaching to the essence of theFather." VEGA voiced out in Izuku's ear privately to him.
Izuku slowly nodded, "Y-You'll let me go right..! I-I promise..w-we will never t-target Earth again p-please..!"
He didn't bother listening to him anymore as Izuku shot him straight into his face, making his head explode and brain matter flying all over the place.
After two years...he's finally gotten his revenge, but...it wasn't done. There were still demons. And now there were also the Makyr's left.
In his rageful crusade, he will not stop as his fury knew no bounds. He will finish off what the previous Slayer had started.
'96.7 quadrillion demons...? I'll kill more than that...' he thought as a short but cruel smile crept up on his face.
He turned his head over to a infamous double-barrelled weapon sitting in a chained up prison. Walking over to it, he punched a hole through the Hell Metal which VEGA stated to be extremely durable. According to VEGA, it would take at least 20 full powered United States Smashes from All Might to even leave a dent in it.
Yet Izuku punched a hole straight though.
He pulled out the Super Shotgun and low and behold, it had the trusty meathook. He smiled a little looking at the masterpiece of a weapon.
"The Super Shotgun deals massive point-blank damage to all demons. It can also take out multiple fodder demons with a single blast." VEGA pointed out as Izuku nodded.
He sprinted across the plains of Hell, reaching speeds faster than 230mph. All of this at, "After clearing out today's hordes, you have reached 69% of your potential."
'Heh...69...' Izuku snickered in his mind as a loose smirk crept up.
He ran forward and went back to base with the sole purpose of now simply growing stronger.
————————————————————————
Time skip lol.
I'm going to do a larger time skip in the next chapter though cuz I want him to get to the divinity machine soon. and keep his youthful looks but also make him live for a longg time.
ALSO GUYS HOW DO YOU LIKE THE LORE!! I added some of my own elements with the Makyr's actually being the quirks themselves. So it was like the few surviving Makyr's that the Doom Slayer didn't clear out, they had so little power left that they when they couldn't find the essence of the Father, they condensed what little power they had left and made all the powers unique in their own ways...
Therefore quirks!
Gimme your thoughts:)
