Nick and Gay managed to leverage the law to dismantle two of the three leaders of the "Perfect Girls" agency, along with their subordinates, liberating numerous young women who had been held captive.
Those occupying the lower tiers of the organization faced the death penalty, receiving lethal injections. However, the three leaders were sentenced to twenty years in prison, with the possibility of early release for good behavior.
Yet, the true mastermind—the founder and head of the organization—remained at large, shrouded in mystery, even to Sara.
The incarcerated leaders steadfastly refused to divulge any information about this elusive figure. Despite Nick and Gay's exhaustive efforts, including offering plea deals, they gleaned nothing.
"I'm offering you a chance," Nick said to one of the imprisoned leaders during a visit to the maximum-security facility.
"I don't want it," the leader sneered. "Keep it, you damned lawyer," he laughed mockingly. "Enjoy your lovely family while you can; you'll lose them soon enough."
The prisoner's derisive laughter echoed through the room, testing Nick's composure.
— It's not our fault that your beautiful, delectable wife insists on prostituting herself and teaching your charming daughter the trade.
Enraged, Nick struck the prisoner squarely in the face, causing him to spit blood.
— You can't do that, you scum! I'll file a lawsuit!
— I'm an aristocrat; you can't touch me.
Nick departed, knowing the prisoner had no legal recourse against him due to his privileged status.
However, the prisoner was confident that his associates and superior would handle Nick, beyond the reach of the law. This thought brought a sinister smile to his face.
Nick focused on enhancing the security of his mansion and safeguarding his family, determined never to let harm befall Sara or their children again. Gay, too, failed to extract any information from the other two prisoners, who merely mocked him and the legal system.
Ultimately, none of the incarcerated leaders revealed anything, leaving the identity of the organization's head a mystery. Nonetheless, Nick and Gay had significantly weakened the nefarious organization that trafficked young women into slavery.
The liberated girls were taken to rehabilitation centers, receiving psychological support and treatment for their physical and emotional wounds.
However, those who had been sold and now belonged to aristocrats refused to speak about their experiences under the organization's control, regardless of the promises of protection.
Despite these challenges, the law sided with Nick and Gay, who succeeded in dismantling a substantial portion of the enemy's power.
Sara was genuinely happy, as her beloved Nick had demonstrated his strength and the effectiveness of the law when wielded wisely.
That night, they celebrated with their three children, feeling a sense of relief—especially Sara, who breathed freely for the first time in years.
Nick chose not to burden Sara with the details of his prison encounter with one of the organization's leaders, sparing her further distress.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, the remaining free leader discussed the situation with the organization's founder.
— Eighty percent of the organization has been dismantled because of the Archers. Nick got involved because of his damned wife, Sara, — the leader said nervously. — I don't like this at all; if this continues, I'll be next.
— Relax, that won't happen. I'll take care of that golden-haired lawyer in due time.
— What do you mean?
— We'll let them believe they've won. Give them the freedom they so desperately seek.
— Why? If we do that, they'll destroy us both, and everything we've built will go down the drain. I don't agree. I don't.
— You'll do as I command. Forget about them and continue providing our clients with the finest 'perfect girls.'
— And the Archers?
— Forget about them.
—Just like that?
—:Exactly.
— Why?
— Because I'll handle them from now on.
The leader smiled, appeased, before responding:
Alright. I'll trust that you know what you're doing. After all, you're the sole heir of the family that founded the 'Perfect Girls' organization.
— Indeed.
Without another word, the founder departed, his footsteps echoing through the dark, solitary room.
