The next morning, the crowd roared.
Mizu's third match.
His opponent: Kenzo, a dual-blade mercenary with sharp eyes and faster hands.
Steel clashed with water.
Kenzo's style was relentless—but Mizu's instincts were sharper. His crystal flared, and with a surge of blue flame, he shattered Kenzo's defense and sent him crashing out of the ring.
"You're not just any rookie…" Kenzo muttered before disappearing into the crowd.
Then came Sayos's match.
His opponent: Libo—broad-shouldered, gruff, with an eyepatch and a cloak of fire.
Wind met flame.
Sayos danced around every strike, cloak fluttering, steps light as air. With one final gust, he launched Libo back against the stone wall.
"You fight like a storm," Libo chuckled. "Ever considered becoming a pirate?"
"Thanks," Sayos smirked. "But I've got my crew."
