Even now, just thinking about that place filled her with awe and wonder. It was a realm brimming with life force far surpassing even that of the Lake of Life—like the birthplace of all living things.
It was there that she met the goddess sister.
The goddess was incredibly gentle and kind. No matter what kind of being laid eyes on her, they would instantly feel all worries vanish. That was how the Auspicious Beast—Sanctified Three-Eyed Golden Lion—felt when she saw the Goddess of Life.
The goddess told her that she had a chance to become a messenger of life, to take human form, and venture into the human world she had always been so curious about. Not only would this satisfy her curiosity, but it was also a rare opportunity for the soul beast race, now in decline, to find a new path to revival.
Although she had always been cherished by the ancient beasts of the Star Dou Forest, she was no fool. Having listened to their conversations and accepted their teachings, she understood all too well how dire the soul beast race's situation was on the Douluo Continent.

Thus began her journey through the human world. She didn't tell Ditian or the others what she was doing, nor did she ask for their help. She knew they would never allow her to leave the protective sanctuary they had built around her. Besides, she had her own pride. She wanted to complete this task using her own strength.
And so, in human form, she left the Star Dou Forest for the first time and ventured into the human world beyond.
Her first mission was clear: to find the other life messenger chosen by the goddess.
Thanks to the divine life essence granted by the goddess, she could faintly sense the direction of that human from afar—it was quite distant.
She was eager to find him. After all, she wasn't naive. She knew humans were far more cunning and untrustworthy than soul beasts. In a world like this, the only one she could possibly place her trust in was the human recognized by the goddess sister.

Eventually, when she reached the border of a human nation, she finally faced a major obstacle—far too many powerful humans were gathered here. Her sense of fate warned her not to cross recklessly.
Left with no other choice, she found a merchant caravan preparing to cross the border and hid under a heap of grain in one of their wagons. It was humiliating for someone of her noble status, but the harsh journey outside the forest had already softened much of her pride. The goddess's influence had also left her in a constant struggle between being a well-behaved little girl and a haughty noble lady.
At last, she had succeeded in crossing the border.
After waiting in the cart for a while, she sensed that the caravan had stopped near a lakeside forest. When no one was looking, she quickly slipped out of the grain pile and darted into the woods.
Wearing a coarse linen cloak over her small frame, she moved swiftly and gracefully through the forest. At that moment, she felt utterly free.
Over the past month, she had come to see the human world as a place full of wonders and novelty—but also restrictions and rules that made her feel constantly bound. Forests, especially those like soul beast territory, gave her a true sense of home.
'Is this what humans call nostalgia?'
But she shook her head. Yes, she missed home. But there were more important things to do.
Also… human snacks were just too delicious. Hehehe.
She leapt from tree to tree, wiping a bit of drool from the corner of her mouth.
Over the past month, she had stolen and eaten plenty of human food. She couldn't help it—it was so good. Compared to the raw and bloody meals of the forest, the difference was like heaven and earth.
No wonder she was constantly being chased by local enforcers. With her enormous appetite, not a single restaurant survived unscathed wherever she went.
